This is the moment an internet star known as 'China's first rooftopper' fell to his death from the top of a 62-storey skyscraper. Wu Yongning, 26, was doing pull-ups at the top of the Huayuan International Centre in Changsha, the capital of Huan Province, when he lost his grip and fell.

It says he only actually fell 45ft. That is a long ways, but survivable for a small guy like him. I’m guessing he didn’t immediately die and laid there for quite some time. He probably was able to ponder his stupidity in utter agony.
Falling feels like flying,
For a little while.
Looks like he was trying to get back up, and hadnt thought that far ahead. Oh, well.
...
He found out the hard way about flat smooth surfaces and their lack of friction.
Ho Lee Fuk!
Please tell me he didnt have any offspring...
He died of “attention whore-ism”
Who fell from rooftop?
wu.
yes, the name of the guy who fell.
wu.
the chinese darwin award winner?
wu.
What was his name?
no, not watt, wu.
He came, he saw, he fell.
Gravity wins again!!
He can only do three pull ups.
I like how after he does those 2 pull ups, he then realizes he can’t get back up. WHOOPS!
“i’m a rooftop flyer...lone survivor”...not
His lack of common sense and poor decision making pales to the heartlessness shown in the thread.
Have someone help you up. We don’t need no stinking friends.
And the Darwin Award for 2017 goes to.....Sum Ting Wong!
Unreal. He did ONE too many pull ups and didn’t have the strength to get up one last time. watching the struggle is amazing. it looks like he tried one last push off with his feet and it launched him from building.
“...when he lost his grip and fell.”
He lost his grip well before then.
“Cut velvet! Cut velvet!”
“So basically.... everyone just went home and let someone else clean up the mess. Sounds very chinese to me.”
OSHA - Chinese style.
I imagine there won’t be a need now to put up stickers like - “warning no pull-ups from rafters”
Probably more like “Oh....aaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!”
