These law enforcement elites are not ready to face the same music some gleefully inflict on the public. Many live in very nice homes in very nice neighborhoods in and around the Washington, D.C. area, drive very nice personal cars, send their children to exclusive private schools and elite colleges, and are comfortable knowing they can rely on generous pension when they decide to retire from public service and leapfrog into a safe gig in a think tank or university.
All of this could be at risk for some of these law enforcement officials and to them, THAT is the "security risk": their personal security and freedom.

All should appreciate the FBI speaking up. I wish more of our leaders would. But take heart: American history shows that, in the long run, weasels and liars never hold the field, so long as good people stand up. Not a lot of schools or streets named for Joe McCarthy.
List the felonies for us.....NOW. These criminals do not deserve taxpayer funded pensions!
We are small people and should leave these Rulers
alone because THEY are above all Laws, and
constitute the Fourth Branch of Government (they say).

When the abuses against the US Olympic gymnastics team was made public, I am sure it hurt many reputations. Once of the consequences is the resignation of the entire US Olympic Gymnastics Board.
The FBI and Justice Department should be held to the same standard. All high FBI and Justice officials should resign in the wake of the abuses. Some should go to jail, just like the gymnastics doctor.
