Bingo! Since I am from that area I can speak intelligently about it. The demographics are...it’s Hillary Country. Lots of New York, Jersey, Philly transplants and kids of those transplants. I was one of them, who smartened up. Lots in common with upper middle class suburbs of D.C and that area as far as politics. It’s predictable that most of the folks who are virtue signalling about Douglas HS shooting were either Pink Hat women’s marchers or husbands of said women. I would say the demographic makeup is heavily NE Jewish, Italian\Irish\Eastern European Catholic and mixes of those groups. What is a little sick is them appropriating this issue a reason to bash Trump and for gun confiscation. My Facebook is a wasteland of that, hashtags and people pontificating about how we need to “Do something”..aka an excuse for thinking.
Which is funny, as I was told this weekend: the only solution is force people to turn in their guns or to confiscate them.
