I’m standing on principle. No new gun regulations. In fact, we have too many.

That doesn’t look like winning to me.

It’s always some master strategy. Yet, somehow, the progressives of the Uniparty seem to win.

How so? Please, elaborate. The progressives have won precisley jack sh-t since President Trump took office.

So take your #NeverTrump foolishness elsewhere. It's been over a year of non-stop winning, and President Trump has earned the trust and loyalty—not to mention the benefit of the doubt—a dozen times over, to anyone who's paying attention.

Any time an issue comes up, your ilk starts up with the pearl clutching and hand-wringing, and in every single instance, your hysterics are proven wrong. Supreme Court. Paris Climate Agreement. Obamacare. Trade. Immigration. Taxes.

Enough with the chicken little routine...

With the current asinine laws on the books, this could have been easily stopped but law enforcement chose not to and/or was to lazy.

>>>None of what he’s proposed will pass Congress<<<

No, all three will pass Congress with ease. The Media has their new 2018 Election Year issue since Russian Collusion and the Economy are losers for them.

Handgun purchases being limited to Age 21 passed years ago without an uprising, why would the newest Monster under the Bed “Semi Automatic” Rifles be a no go with all this spoon fed Democrat Media crappola going on.

Looks like 18-20 Year Olds will have to settle for Bolt Action Rifles and Pump Shotguns, like I did when I was an eight year old.

Notice how we never hear the Murderers name (Cruz, in case anyone forgot), unless it was changed to Mr. AR-15 or Mr. Assault Weapon and nobody told us.

Apparently he gets no blame for these Murders. Interesting.

They failed to repeal Obamacare. We have done nothing on the Paris agreement. We’re about to get new gun regulations. They’re sinning on immigration, under any of the plans — because they get amnesty in all of them. And we’re about to get stuck with an infrastructure plan that dwarfs Obama’s.

Gorsuch was good. The tax cut was good. But there is plenty of other stuff that isn’t.

Right. So let's put in new ones. That'll solve it!

Let’s raise the age to own a rifle to 26. And the drinking age. And the driving age. And the voting age. And the age for marriage, for that matter. Out after dark? not if you’re under 26!

I was thinking the same thing. Propose making 26 the age of majority. Under that you're still a minor. No signing contracts either and parents are civilly and criminally liable for their actions.

Let people's heads go splodey over that idea for a while and they won't want to discuss any of this anymore.

Exactly, they won’t use the laws we have.

Yet, somehow, the progressives of the Uniparty seem to win.

And do tell. Please tell me where are they winning?

Trump is pre-empting them at every turn.

An AR-15 won’t do much good against a tyrannical government that has nukes.

Trump wants National Reciprocity, he may be offering up a deal to get it. Probably knowing they will not take it, then he can decry their intransigence and ignore them, as with DACA.

He needs to discus that we could never have gun control without border control.

Putting armed guards at schools will quickly teach the kids you need a weapon to defend yourself. Arming the teachers? Excellent idea. That will have an added benefit that some lib teachers will retire.

Oh, please, not that ridiculous trope again. If the government uses nukes on the civilian population we won’t need any guns. People will rip apart every politician in the country with their bare hands.

Agreed.

Just like ISIS, these Nutcases always go for the soft targets.

BTW - My brother carried his .22 Rifle to Middle School back in the late 50’s when we lived in New York. He was in the Gun Club and the School had a Gun Range in the Basement.

Nobody batted an eye.

In this climate, I can see the following passing:

Banning the sale or transfer of semi-automatic firearms to those under the age of 21. Ban the unsupervised use and possession of the same to those under 21.

Ban the sale or transfer of any firearm to those under the age of 18. Ban the unsupervised use and possession of the same to those under 18.

Anybody expelled from a secondary school for non-academic reasons becomes a prohibited person under the NFA. That person may apply to be restored at age 26.

Background checks for private sales.

Bump stocks are done deal.

Nothing additional on penalties for violating the NFA.

Should private citizens be allowed to buy surface to air missiles just in case the tyrannical government decides to attack us with F-22s?

Stop! The first attack on civilians with an F-22 would be the best recruiting tool imaginable for a patriot resistance. No politician could show their face in public and would have to move to undisclosed locations. And that means down to every town mayor and board member.

This thread isn't about a CW-II but you can sure educate yourself about the possibility.

What Good Can a Handgun Do Against an Army.....?

120 million gun owners with over 400 million guns and 2-3 trillion rounds of ammo can certainly dissuade a government composed of less than a thousand politicians from doing something as utterly ridiculous as you suggest.
