Vanity - Trump Critics
3/24/18 | self

Posted on 03/24/2018 12:41:45 PM PDT by Moe-Patrick

To the Freepers blaming Trump for the Omnibus: Please state what he should have done including the aftermath. Many wanted a veto, but never address the subsequent steps necessary for a ‘win’.

I love Free Republic and the thoughtful, intelligent commentary. Yet I was stunned to see so many comment on various posts with such little insight. Trump cannot write legislation nor can he make politicians do anything. What role do voters play? It seems that most expect Trump to fix everything while we as voters do nothing. We voted for the uniparty. We don’t march on Washington, we send our kids to propaganda schools and colleges, we don’t show up period. What are you doing personally to fight and win?

Proper perspective, saying Merry Christmas was hate speech before Trump. Isis attacks were normalized. The only immigration reform being offered was legalizing 11 million. Trump won despite the media, uniparty, FBI, DOJ, criminal investigation, wiretapping, Bush dynasty, Clinton dynasty, illegal voting, and indoctrinated voters. The argument isn’t about Trump’s missteps or wins, it is about saving this country. Trump is the only person fighting to turn it around.

For those still playing armchair quarterback vowing to not vote in 2020, imagine Trump quitting tomorrow, Pence stepping up, or whomever. And play that scenario out. What would change? Would the Congress suddenly become Conservative? Would they repeal Obamacare? Would they build a wall? Would they nix Planned Parenthood? Would they cut spending? Would they balance trade? Would they deal with Iran and NK or appease them? Would they deport DACA recipients plus the 11 million? Would they fight media? Would they fight the progressives openly and loudly? Would they fight for the party?

In summary, Trump can only be as Conservative as the bills handed to him. If you want Conservative bills, attack those writing them. Trump is not God. Be a part of the solution.

Bingo. You know we are probably in trouble with most of the freepers as we are not supposed to criticise DJT or be called closet libs or even worse. Apparently as I’ve learned, people keep track of how often you post and get called all sorts of names for not posting drivel 7 days a week 365 days a year.

"He should have taken a couple or three days, split 2200 pages up between staff members, and made an informed decision."

You'd like that, because some of the senators had already left D.C.. And the Senate won't meet again until April the 9th. The House won't meet until the 10th. That would be a lot of paid holiday time for government employees.

"Signing a bill he hadn’t read ...... he should resign if that’s the best he can do."

You'd really like that. [Emphasis in your comment bolded by me, so others can see it through thick skulls.]

And most of the rest of you complaining here, you don't know what you're talking about. Learn something about civics. For retards, that means to find out how government works.

The answer is not to complain, when you don't even know what you're complaining about. The answer is to start posting needed information about important bills here, when those bills leave committee at the latest. The bills are available, and there's no copyright problem with those government documents. Then start learning about how to take action for or against those bills to have your own influence in government.

[Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer.]

I’m going to start hitting the report abuse button on all that I see that are saying trumps done at this time I’ll never vote for him again Maybe if enough of us do that then Jim Robinson will start to pay attention and band some of these people If they won’t listen to reason then they are here just to disrupt and divide

trumps done at this time I’ll never vote for him again

Go ahead. Get me banned.

"He’s toast come this November. As a proud conservative, I would not waste one more breath trying to get another so called republican elected so they can magically turn into a liberal the moment they get sworn in. We’ve simply lost."

"Confiscator!" That figures. Go play with the Hoggs.

I voted for trump and have been pleased with his first year. I have made money in the market, he has been keeping promises and seemed to be settling into this job. There is bound to be a truth here that no one knows. This guy with unlimited resources for staffing signed off on a 2200 page swamp bill without reading it....and did it like a loser. I saw the presser live. He looked beaten. He was beaten and not playing 4d chess. Is it muller, is it something else in his personal life, is it the strain of the past year, is it his family was long in the military industrial swamp sector, or is it truly what he said..... because he thought this was the only way to get military funding. If the latter is true then we have to admit that Schumer is the MAN.

No one is keeping track of you. It takes only seconds to bring up your history which the site keeps data on automatically.

“I can’t believe you would write that to freepers - the most committed conservatives on earth. What good does marching on Washington do? That hasn’t worked since the civil rights movement.”

I agree that Freepers are the most committed conservatives, which is why I joined. And as a Conservative, I want to save this country. To save this country requires changing policies and minds. To change policies, real conservatives must be elected, not what we currently have. To change minds, conservatives should rally publicly and speak often.

Saying Trump should resign because of the Omnibus does not solve the core problem. It hands power back to those that created this mess. Let’s focus on them for results.

"He has endured more then any other political figure on the planet has ever gone through."

I don't know if I would go quite that far.   There have been a few political figures here and there in history who were sent by someone with extreme prejudice to the Happy Hunting Ground, which seems a tad worse, (although I would not put it past the demonic deep-staters, or members of the demonic dump-of-crap party or their greasy GOOPe partners, or members of the demonic and maniacal mainstream media, to try to do something horrendously similar to that).

You were concern trolling in 2014, too, and even mentioned your preference for the Green Party.

Let’s say I had some priorities in that time which left me little time to engage in mind numbing debates with mind numbing morons. Glad I’m conversing with a doctor. Like I said, you wouldn’t believe me and franky you are not important enough to explain or convince.

It’s time for conservatives to learn a thing or two about the effectiveness, at times, of incrementalism.

but we now would be better off without Trump.

In fact, I'd bet of cup of coffee you never once supported Trump in the fist place.

I base this on the fact that it's very unlikely someone who's been here years like you, yet never once made a one single supportive comment regarding Trump.

That's a bit odd, don't ya think Con?

You never once supported Trump on this site, not one supportive comment during your entire history, but suddenly ya got time to bad mouth him and declare Trump needs to be dumped.

Very odd.

I proudly went to one of his rallies and still have the sign. I spoke to coworkers about my support for him when it was not always comfortable. I’m just perplexed that people don’t understand how betrayed and others feel right now. Maybe I’m guilty of keeping my mouth shut when things were going good. For that I am truly sorry. Maybe it will be easier to once again, stop commenting.

"To change policies, real conservatives must be elected, not what we currently have."

What we currently have would clean your toilets, if enough of these do-nothing tightwads learned to write and $upported the right lobbie$ with a just a tiny bit of moola from each one of us to pay those crook politicians off. That's how the thousands of government-revenue-sucking, queer, feminazi special interest local, state and federal government offices and government-connected corporate employee organizations do it. But noooooooooo! We have to sit around beeching and crying about the outrage of it all! Which gets the commie perverts laughing their asses off at us, while they run over us in politics.

Hell, very few of us even know where to find the information about a bill. Fewer of us know the various possible paths that a bill takes.

If we don't get a majority Republican Congress this year, we'll lose everything. Your homes will be raided by SWAT teams in the middle of the night, after you've lost sleep for weeks. You'll wake up to muzzles pointed at your faces. Your firearms, your kids or your grandkids will be confiscated by the government. Your faces, your stashes of weapons and all of your ammunition will be showcased on your local news for days!

And, Walter Mitty, you'll be helpless to do anything about it except in your Walter Mitty dreams!

So get politically active, and do it right. Don't be useful idiots for the concern trolls.

From where I sit, it seems like when I win, I lose, and when I lose, I lose, and I’m not allowed to leave the game.

Trump is the first President in 16 years to implement gun control, and the budget he signed, Pelosi and Schumer both remarked that they never could have gotten this budget through when they were in the Majority.

I assure you, the Uniparty WILL NOT MOVE to have Trump impeached. They are doing much better with him in office.

Thank God it’s not a budget, but a spending bill that is malleable.
