I agree with the sentiments in this piece and consider it to be a rational assessment. But, this election is going to be decided by voters who do not make rational judgments. They act on their emotions and since they pay little attention to politics in their daily lives, they will be influenced by the loud voices of the left wing media.
Right now, the media hold the sway though fortunately it is still early and we have time to turn the tide. I think that we will do so, but I may not be right. We face a real threat to our majority in both houses of Congress and we should not take this threat lightly.
