That is probably the #1 problem in trying to to hire blue collar workers right now.
The Drug Free Workplace Act is making it really diffcult for some employers.

It will only get worse with more states legalizing weed. The main problem being that it stays in the blood up to a month, so drug tests tell nothing about whether the person is actually high at work.

My 18 year old son just got his CDL. He’s volunteering at a camp for the summer and already has a job lined up when he gets back. No drugs or alcohol so he’s highly desirable. Only problem he has to stay in the state till he’s 21
