I concur. It will take a while to see where this takes us.
To use an analogy, we’re GM and they are Ford people. They are sick of Ford and we rejoice, only to find out they are buying Toyotas. Or worse, Volkswagens.
Thanks for clarifying.
I agree. It is very important. But it appears that these people are not running to the right. In fact, some of them may actually be running FARTHER to the left. The good news is that makes them ripe for independent candidates, which makes it hard to win. I think trump at least was smart enough to know that to win you have to be, at least officially, a member of a major party. And Bernie knew it too.
Waste of time. Viewed a portion of it. Just some average, everyday, conservative lady’s opinion while taking a walk.
Agree. Been following it. Little over a month and it’s over 162,000. Many minority, gay, democrats. Lots of videos starting with “ I am not a Russian bot” it is giving people the courage to walk away from liberalism. They know thwy are not alone.
Don’t waste your time telling me not to waste mine.
I know three #WalkAway people personally. Also I have been in touch with the initiator of it, Brandon Straka. It’s real, but it may not be as large a movement as some have represented.
I bet it is every bit as real as the PUMAs in 2008.
Heh.
There is still hope to restore FR to a decent web venue for intelligent material, not drek. Thank you for your input.
No I don't.
Bye!
The process of leaving a party is often very difficult because who one is has much to do with whom that person supports politically. Blacks are moving toward the light and from reviewing many #walkaway videos it is plain to see that White women are in this movement. This plus Black voters represents a deep penetration into the Democrats armor. The thumb rule for political response is about 50 to one. In the Congressional office I worked in we looked at communications and waited to see if there were anymore like the one we already had. If we got ten or so we figured 500 people probably felt the same way. If we got fewer we ignored it and if we got more than 50 say 100 we took action. There are now over 1.140 million views of these videos. Disregard them as some kind of trick if you want, but it is real and it is growing. Many now former Democrats will stay home - 53% of Blacks identify as Democrats that’s death for Democrats. So of these people might actually vote Republicans but their staying home is what killed Clinton in Michigan.

If FR is not good and decent enough for you, I’m sorry. Maybe you should go to a more suitable site.
If a YouTube video of a person expressing a legitimate opinion on why they are leaving the Democrat Party is “drek”, you need some help.
Well, then stop wasting time complaining.
Very good points.
I am reminded of those testimonials on “ex-Mormon” sites. The typical testimonial is not, “I left Mormonism and became Christian.” Rather, typically they seem to be “I left Mormonism to become an agnostic (or atheist).”
Time will tell if they make the full conversion
At this stage it is hurting the Left and hopefully waking up people and that’s a good thing. I’d say the number of people taping testimonials on YouTube is outnumbered by a huge factor by those who are quietly “walking away”.
Thanks for sharing that. The Walk Away movement is not a good thing for the Dems.
That was a good video. Thanks for sharing. 8>)
I can accept that, but my comment was an apt response to the wording of your own.
Been there, done that :)
Why am I not surprised. /s
I fully-expect that the makers of those videos will somehow be blocked, banned or “shadow-banned” of their own accord.
Writing’s on the wall, so-to-speak.
