Fox News Digital Politics Editor, Chris Stirewalt, said yesterday reporters should stop covering President Donald Trump’s rallies. He also advocated for ending the televised White House Press Briefings, bashing the Administration.
“I submit, we should stop having reporters at those Trump rallies. Everybody should stop having reporters penned up like veal in the back of those things for the President to use as a prop. And then some of the reporters exploit that for their own personal benefit. This is not helping anybody. Get out of the hall. Leave the cameras. Get the reporters out of the hall. Quit letting him use you as a foil.”
You remember this guy, right? Stirewalt is the guy Megyn Kelly would bring on routinely during the 2016 Presidential Campaign to laugh at, mock, and attack Donald Trump. They had a grand time, for a while, telling us that Trump could not win the 2016 GOP Nomination and, even if he did – he would not beat Hillary Clinton!

Does Stirewalt understand ANYTHING? If I had the difference between his actual worth, and his pompous imagined worth, in dollars, I could OWN the island of Tahiti; lock, stock and barrel.
When I see Chris Stirewalt on tv or video the first thought that comes into my head is ‘soft’.
This guy is soft. No hardness or regular life-suffering/trials to this guy. He’s one of those people who truly did have privilege all his life.
Perino is a great disappoint to me. I really expected much better from her for various reasons.

This faux outrage is really about trying to make the supporters LOOK a certain way as well.

There is not one single news organisation that covers EVERY Trump rally, every Trump news conference as well as One America News.
As far as I care ALL THE REST of them can just not show up. Either that or they can cover Trump AND his BASE and his FANS and his SUPPORTERS. He taunts them every single time to cover the audiance and show the American people exactly how many people are there cheering for our President. They keep the cameras tightly focused on Trump, never showing anything else. Then all the footage goes into the vault for future ridicule because is sure a s hell dont show up on the MSMBS new shows.
Press coverage by invitation only. If the investigative journalists what to know what going on, let them investigate. (or they can just make it all up like they are doing now.)

Media should have reporters at these events. But they should not send provocateurs. A report should report, factually. Not give their opinion or instigate activity. Opinion is for the editors, it should be factual, and honest. Unfortunately media has given up on both facts and honesty. They just want sensationalism! They are provoking hostility to increase their ratings and agenda of destroying the USA!
This guy was the reason I never watched Megyn Kelly’s show. She’d have him on and they would make snarky jokes which came across like they were to cool kids making fun of the nerds. Smug and condescending, both of them. I’d previously liked Megyn Kelly but once she started interacting with this guy I saw her for what she was in reality. Then the Trump stuff happened and that was that.
Big talk for a someone who would be unemployed if they didn’t cover Trump.
They don’t have a choice, whether they believe it to be Faustian or The Sword of Damocles.
That advise would be as effective as telling a street heroine addict there to stop using.

Right, so the rest of the country, including undecideds and Trump supporters who aren’t at the rally don’t have a clue about how big the support is for Trump. I don’t agree.
