There are men your age looking for women like you, and they are just as frustrated with how hard you are to find as you must be with trying to find them. I’m decades past that search, but even when I was young, it was hard.
But still have children.
My tribal grandparents were actually matched up by my grandmothers family. His mom had left him in one location to start a new family in another place. They were in their teens, perhaps 14 and 15. They had a bunch of kids on a farm and had a good full life.
Things between the sexes are what they are today because of one thing: Feminism. “Men suck, men (white men particularly) are the worst thing on the planet’’. This is the message that has been drummed into the heads of about 4 out of 5 women in America today.
You can see why.
All of which pale in comparison to the awesome power of playing gatekeeper to a man's most compelling desire.
Women have been sold a bill of goods.
As total life expectancy increases and people maintain their health better young men and women may simply be extending their single years to enjoy the freedom and opportunities available to them. Millennials don’t yet want the traditional job and life experiences of earlier generations. They want to try different careers, travel, pursue advanced degrees, or start businesses that are very hard to do when you immediately commit to a family with all its expenses and responsibilities. They trust in their future options to do this when they are ready but for now they can be selfish. Its an indication of the prosperity, peace, and freedom that the modern world affords them and is not a negative thing.
True....
Without a doubt that is true. My parents were living proof of that.
They loved each other enough to MAKE it work.
Presbyterianism?
My daughter is 34, pretty, physically fit, BS degree, and trained in surgical technology, and generally conservative. She generally avoids the dating websites, but a couple years ago met a nice young attorney, gainfully employed, but with an alcohol problem. A couple others had a tendency to be stalkers. Think she’d rather be alone with her pets and horses than settle for that.
That is hilarious, and I deserve the credit for it because of my skillful straight line setup.
Too much risk and a questionable return have made marriage a crummy investment.
Would you board an airplane if they told you half the flights crashed?
My daughter just turned 32 and has yet to find a single Christian man who wants to be in a committed relationship....
There sure is. And its a growing one.
Difference is they stay married. The vows actually are taken seriously and solemnly.
Or if the next day she decides shes unhappy and revokes consent. Not worth it.
Half the flights do not crash.
the divorce stat you are quoting is comparing the number of all the marriages in one year example 100/2=50
to the divorces of all the people who have been married up to and including that year. 5,000,000 marriages 50 divorces
“Divorce court isnt stacked against men.”
Wrong, horribly wrong.
I have seen it, up close, many times.
Luckily I have the ability to learn from the mistakes of those around me.
Family courts are evil, nothing less.
