On Thursday night, MSNBC hosts Ari Melber and Chris Matthews were surprisingly tough on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's line reported on Wednesday by Politico that, “I don’t want to see [President Trump] impeached, I want to see him in prison.”
First up was Melber, who stated this during his show The Beat: “Is this the Democrats' version of 'lock her up?' I mean, there was a judicial, legal, process. We've covered it extensively. It did not result in an indictment, whether you like it or not...If she is making prison-esque, jail-esque references....does she risk getting close to a 'lock her up' frame?”
During the next hour on Hardball, Matthews put the criticism of Pelosi even more starkl:
"Now the Speaker of the House is saying [Trump] ought to be in prison. Imagine that you live in some rinky-dink country out in the world that has always looked up to ours. You know, some fourth-world country, doesn't even have democracy. And here we have the leader of the opposition, saying the other guy ought to be in prison. This is the stuff we used to see in Pakistan in the old days. Defeat the guy, then hang him."

Perhaps. And they do everything they possibly can to take joy out of OURS as well. Imagine the mood this country would be in watching America rise from the ashes if these babies didn’t feel the need to go through a 2 year+ hissy fit because their chosen leftist queen lost the election? Their constant negative scorched-earth attacks have not only dampened President Trump’s agenda, but it’s torn this country in half - and not only do they not care, but that’s probably their aim to begin with... you know, “If WE’RE not going to control the country, there’s not going to be a country to control!”.
It would be nice if our guys in Congress would actually address this and stand up to these devils, instead of voting themselves another pay raise.

Sorry, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Being a losing political candidate should not confer immunity to the violations of your country's laws.
'Lock her up' wasn't just a catchy phrase. It was an call for justice.
She should investigate ilhan omar first who has committed a felony with tax fraud while married to her brother.
Pelosi can best be understood in Freudian terms. She views Trump subconsciously as a father figure. Her own father was at his core a corrupt, brutal, selfish thug. Nancy no doubt had some deep , negative feelings toward him and at the least believed his own father should be punished and placed in prison. Yet “impeachment” would be the equivalent of death. While Nancy wanted her own father put safely away where he could do her primarily no more harm, she was not quite ready or comfortable with the patricide of impeachment. If the rabid Democrats want to move her toward impeachment, they ought to arrange for her to visit her father’s grave a few times. No telling what some graveside rage may do.

Yesterday Trump teed it up for Nancy to go down. She’s about to become the next bum of the month. Pelosi will try to get in to this pissing contest and she’s going to lose big-time. Everybody knows what happens when you go up against the Donald your toast.

After laudatory analyses of the president’s D-Day address, that’s actually two days in a row the broken clocks over at CNN and MSNBC “got it right.”
Perhaps this is the last ditch effort by both networks to save themselves in the midst of a credibility and ratings crash.
