Well how about that. I’ve spent today dipping in and out of FR and seeing how the hysteria - completely unnecessary - is growing. And one thing I have asked several times is - who benefits? Cui bono, the same thing in Latin and used to solve many crimes.
And nobody has answered, but I guess now we know.

One of our adult sons learned this from me and isn’t a freeper.
On his side of his desk he has a little wooden 3 sided piece of wood with “Who benefits? Cui bono?”
He has an older sibling, who told him, “Took you long enough to understand this reality, “Who benefits? Cui bono?”
