The left’s ‘listen to the science’ mantra is growing old. Trump listened and that’s the problem.

One of the left’s standard attacks on the President is that he doesn’t listen to the science! Sadly, he did listen to the so-called experts who predicted wildly hyperbolic death and destruction and he agreed to the economic shutdown.

The President surely realizes by now that he should have operated on his gut instincts which rarely fail him. Dr. Fauci, for example, sees no patients. He looks at computer models, all of which were wrong. Dr. Birx probably has more hands-on experience, but she too recommended closing up the nation. They were wrong.

Many were willfully blinded by supposed science.

“The science” is conflated by the left to mean “those scientists with our agenda who act like priests in white lab coats.”

The real science would tell any honest scientist that early modeling keeps getting the scale of infectious diseases off by a very large factor and act accordingly. Truth, however, didn’t fit the plan.

Little Fauxi was involved in the CREATION of this virus,
in the funding of this virus (against the Law),
in the making of a vaccine while taking out
every manufacturer and owner of companies manufacturing
the chemical cure, the time-tested cure: Hydroxychloroquine.

Why are these animals not in Guantanamo?

I well remember my 7th grade Science teacher, Mr. Sanders, telling us that “in science, there are NO absolutes”. That has been with me ever since.

The leftists talk as if science were a person with one opinion — their own. There is no such thing a “the science,,” as there is no such thing as “the philosophy,” or “the political science.”

Math is really cool because it literally has things called “Proofs”.

Science doesn’t have those. There really is no settled science.

Fauci obsesses over his wildly inaccurate models. But he can’t see (or doesn’t care) that the health of the economy is in critical shape.

Time to send this guy back to his cubicle and told to keep his mouth shut.

Back when science teachers taught science and not ideology. I miss those days.

Lawyers can find an “expert” to say whatever they want them to say based on “science “. It’s naive to think any science presents an absolute truth that’s universally accepted by everyone with letters after their name.

Now that we are home schooling our grandsons, we are turning back that clock. See? There is a silver lining to this stupidity!

It still stuns me how Trump fought the deep state/swamp for 3.5 years, then suddenly and unquestioningly turned everything over to two of deepest swamp dwellers we have (Fauci/Birx). So unfortunately, I ultimately blame Trump for our economic meltdown. His initial “like the flu” instincts were spot on, but he caved to media pressure and threw his base overboard, creating millions of people now dependent on government for years to come.

The problem isn’t that Trump listen to and sought advice from “The Experts”; it’s that he relinquished control of setting and directing policy to “The Experts” who clearly have no more wisdom than anyone else ... and making policy decisions requires wisdom more than any other attribute.

The virus was going to be turned to hysteria by the media if he had ignored it. Hysteria.

Yep, no matter what Trump did, the Press was going to do the same thing to him. Never let a crisis go to waste.

For Fauci, when the only tool he has is a hammer, every problem looks like a glass window.

President Trump’s biggest mistake was talking technical advise. He should have left that to the pros. He should have backed them with moral support. But that being said he had done the best he could. Honestly speaking it has been a short period time for corona virus reaction. He can’t just click his fingers and fix everything.

There is always a silver lining if you look hard enough. Also though sometimes you have to mine pretty hard to find the silver.

I have had to do the deprogramming myself over the years. It will take a massive effort to correct the damage schools inflict on our children.

When my youngest daughter was in 3rd grade, she came home in tears that all the trees would be gone in less than 10 years. That was in 1994. I have been fighting this indoctrination for decades. My oldest daughter is now deprogramming her kids. When the grand kids come home with similar nonsense from school, she just tells them to the teachers are lying and explains it to them. In their case, everyone had to stop using coconut oil because it was killing orangutans.
