Right here is the crux of the problem. Local politicians support all this nonsense.
Even if she has legal grounds to sue, which I doubt is the case, what are the odds you could assemble a jury in that town that would give a damn?

That’s what is going to have to start happening. All of the business owners who have lost their businesses need to file suit against BLM, Antifa, and those that fund them, and any individuals that can be identified. People being unlawfully imprisoned like this woman, having their health threatened, assaulted, all also need to start filing suit.

As far as the protestors are concerned I think drones are called for. It’s a felony to shoot them down and a drone can both show alternate routes for redirecting traffic as well as getting much more sympathetic film footage of miles and miles of motorists stopped for a handful of protestors. Nobody likes that sh*t, so make them toxic. Also the drones can get more pictures of faces that could help even the doxxing inequality between protestors on foot without identifying things like license plates and the motorists.
The FAA doesn’t like drones over moving traffic but what about traffic brought to a standstill thanks to protestors?
Another reason they probably do this is for the optics of protestors on foot vs people being harassed in cars. I think they believe this allows them to be nastier because of the visual disparity between people on foot vs people in cars. The people in cars are in truth a case of mass false imprisonment, and the way to show that is to show miles and miles of people trapped vs the handful of assholes.
I think there are tactical reasons the Left is doing this, they can falsely imprison masses of people and they have identifying info on the end of everyone’s bumper to harass them later too, so the answer is to exploit the weaknesses of this tactic. Call ambulances for every case warranted, don’t put your health in danger and find a way to get good aerial footage. I think we need a conservative drone army.

People get trapped in traffic jams every day, there are going to be a lot of people trapped in those long lines who figure that some poor soul got into an accident rather than for the reason that a protest has taken place. It would be helpful for the public to know what sorts of hazards they have to deal with so that they can factor these hazards into future travel plans. Certainly the goal of the protestors would likely be to get the word out that they have gone to so much trouble and risked arrest to trap thousands of people on the highway. Most of the people in cars have no idea of what is going on. The protestors went to all that trouble, the least you can do is to give them lots of publicity.
What is Alcatraz up to these days?
Demanding a person release their health info (whether her water has broke)...isn’t that a violation of the HIPPA Law?
