I voted for Trump twice. I don’t give money to billionaires. I generally don’t give to any politicians. Though I have donated to 2nd amendment groups political funds.

WinRed is Trump’s baby. He started it. It does NOT give 10% to RNC. 100% goes to Trump. Trump’s PAC pays WinRed a user fee so WinRed can operate. Think of WinRed like PayPal or Venmo.
It just a platform to get small donations to candidates easily. Like the Dems BigBlue.
I think this rumor about RNC skimming off your contributions is a Rumor started and fanned by Dems to keep us from donating.
Isn’t there a physical address where we can mail contributions? I would rather send a check than use a credit card. That way I won’t be harassed for more contributions in the future.

Early on I sent checks to Trump tower. That worked for the first four years. Then I sent a check to Palm Beach. In recent times those checks all came back with a reference to the JFC address. Never wanted to finance the RNC. If Trump wants to share with the RNC this way he gets first crack at my bucks.
I did that ONCE several years back, I’m STILL getting hounded by them by email, txt msgs no matter HOW many numbers/emails I block.

That’s simply not true. Have you ever donated to them? Have you ever had them turn a one time donation into a recurring donation that you did not authorize? Have you ever had to go through the grief of trying to your money back? I have on all counts. Are you aware of the class action lawsuit regarding this? Have you ever gotten 25 emails in a day wanting more? You go right ahead get involved with them. What “national party” is being referred to in their filings of their disbursements?

The automatic checked box for recurring donation is an entirely different matter. That has been fixed but the people who were previously injured by that will get their time in court
WinRed does not siphon off part of your donation for the RNC or anyone else.
