Actually you’re not too far from the truth.
She was a creation of her parents and the environmentalist wackos.
Her tantrums were similar to a teenager slamming her bedroom door because she wasn’t allowed to do what her friends were doing.
I’ll give her a little slack but plame her parents for using and allowed to be used as a puppet or, as you say, a peanuts character.
