Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

Monday, November 3, 2003

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Ok...just thinking out of the box for a minute:

Suppose all this disinformation and ranting from Daleel and EOM is designed to attract our attention from other targets- like other FReepers have alluded to or said previously. I think they are cheesy third tier Al Qaeda at best, but they certainly arent first tier.

Al Qaeda is like Hitler in one respect: they want superweapons to defeat us because they cant come on to a field of battle and win decisively with their assets.

I dont look to see Al Qaeda nukes soon, but it is a concern that some hostile country could use them as a proxy to deliver one to our doorstep.

The Texas BASF shooting intrigues me because it is a fixed piece of infrastructure that could be subjected to a military style attack and cause an immediate and large scale public health problem. Sure it was immediately discounted as a terrorist related incident, but I think that is hogwash, because the first thing a LEO would think in that situation is "terrorism" given the suspect description.

Chemical plants are guarded, but most guards and law enforcement officers dont have the proper equipment to fend off a dedicated suicide like the Riyadh operation, where the terrorists shot themselves into the compound before bombing the buildings with an IED. They dont have anti-aircraft weapons dedicated to them, they dont have the capability to fend off AT weapons, and they cant stand up to machine guns or military grade weapnry with standard police weapons.

Suppose you coordinate attacks on targets like this one in multiple geographic locations at one time?

You could feasibly use a small amount of people to cause a large amount of harm.

I like the exercise of seeking the answers to this, and the reasoning that comes with it. It is an intellectual challenge I like.

Thank you. Big concern is money for our fire departments and emergency services personnel. I know our emergency people always do a remarkable job, but they deserve the supplies they need to meet the possibility of a large scale disaster and federal funds to accomplish that in every community in this country. Better never used then not there when or if needed.

"Anyone considering a cyber attack as a possibilty for this upcoming event that will be totally unexpected?"

If these guys are for real then it sounds like a whole lot more than that. Of course if they knock out the power on a major scale then there is not going to be any internet. Lets hope that these times pass with no events.

the 300 you didnt like are going to change the world soon,

A reference to the 313 companions of the Mahdi when he appears. Clearly he is thinking in eschatological terms here.

thank god for islam and for the good food and the clean and good way of life. you really feel you are above every low life animal on this planet.

What prideful, boastful words. Since in addition to the Koran they claim to follow the teachings of the Old and New Testaments of Bible (as interpreted by the Koran of course), let's just see how closely they following those teachings.

Prov. 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. 19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Gn. 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden. 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of eit, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die; 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Matt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. ... 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. ... 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and percscute you; 45 That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. ... 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged, and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote which is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye, and behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus then goes on to say,

7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye hall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bringeth forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Their own words reveal that they have emerged directly from the Pit.

The part about a video being shown just after the "event," predates NEIN for sure. Arabic messages have inferred that for awhile now -- and I am not talking about daleel or EOM. These Arabic messages come from many places and some sources are well known by authorities.

"Cell Phone Gun"
StrategyWorld ^

Posted on 01/25/2004 4:56:35 PM PST by yonif

ARTICLE BRIEF: "Someone is building cell phone guns and distributing them through the criminal underground. These weapons first showed up in Europe in late 2000. The weapon is built around a hollow cell phone case. The mechanism is installed inside the case so that by hitting the correct buttons, the cell phone case comes apart. In the top half you can see four .22 caliber (5.56mm) bullets in short barrels that are concealed by the plastic covering at the top of the cell phone. When you snap the cell phone back together, four of the buttons on the cell phone will release a spring loaded firing pin into the rear of one of the bullets, firing it out the front of the case. It's not very accurate, but from a few feet away, a shot in the head will kill, and a hit anywhere else will be felt. These cell phone guns have not yet been reported in the United States. But the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the U.S. Customs Service have all been briefed on the new weapons, as have all U.S. ports of entry. No one is sure, but it is thought that the cell phone guns were invented, and are being built, somewhere in the Balkans. While they look like cell phones, if you hold one in your hand they are noticeably heavier. For criminals, especially professional killers, such weapons would be useful in situations where people are being frisked for weapons when entering a club, or a meeting with other gangsters. The weapons could also be smuggled into jails to aid in prison escapes. Commandoes and spies might find this device useful as well. The weapons could also be used to hijack aircraft."

He is eloquent, thats for sure.

I've been following him for about 2 years. He seems to change character every so often. I think Daleel is kind of like the Al Qaeda Public Affairs office.

You would be correct with that interpretation. The basic need to protect our citizens from danger is my rant.

Thanks Bruce.

Those were fine words, coupled with excellent references from the Bible. True Americans like you know this is where our real power stems from.

Before this is over, I guarantee that these beasts will rot in hell. God wont be denied justice, and they are sure looking for it hard.

Hopefully there are more folks than you realize that are as prepared.

Here in "Hurricane Alley" to be without adequate emergency supplies is foolish. If you've never lived through one, you have no idea.

Who knows whether those would be sufficient for some kind of "attack nobody expects." But if we aren't killed outright in the initial phase, I'm confident that we'd make it.

Already we have large vehicles, airplanes, gasoline and other explosive chemicals in bulk stolen from various locations all around the country. Your scenario is quite logical and quite possible.

Reason why we're asking is from post #14980 where a NY cab driver from Afghanistan wanted valium in addition to some other supplies:

Cab Driver Says He Wanted Explosives For Jewel Prospecting

POSTED: 1:43 PM EST January 24, 2004

NEW YORK -- A cab driver from Afghanistan who was jailed after he asked how to make a bomb said he wanted explosives in order to blast for jewels in his home country -- not to carry out a terrorist attack.

But Sayed Abdul Malike, 43, pleaded guilty Friday to making false statements to FBI agents in Brooklyn federal court, saying he had lied in May when he claimed not to have sought the explosives in the first place.

Malike was a "sadly misunderstood, very depressed individual who was just trying to find a way to better support (his) family," one of his attorneys, Alan Gardner, told the New York Times for Saturday editions.

Yet prosecutors said Malike's story didn't explain other suspicious acts reported to the FBI about him beginning in March, when a Queens store owner said he had asked for information on how to build a bomb. Malike also allegedly wanted to buy bulletproof vests, night vision goggles and Valium.

Later that month, Malike traveled to Miami, where a tourist boat captain reported that he asked about the infrastructure of bridges and how close boats could get to them.

Malike was ordered held without bail in May by Assistant U.S. Attorney Catherine Friesen, who said his actions had "no readily apparent innocent explanation," and indicated instead that he might "be a terrorist or have delusions of undertaking terrorist-type activities."

Malike, who has been in jail since May, is scheduled to be sentenced this spring.

The issue of judgement by God is a double edged sorwd to me. This country is responsible in recent days for lot of un Godly things of the worst kind. Abortion, homosexuality, Even Gay marraige is now creeping in strong. And over all people in this country "don't need God anymore". We kicked him out of the shcools, we are kicking him out of the public. As a nation God is being mocked and not defended overall.
I often wonder how long God is going to put up with it. It might not be out of the question that he would allow something to happen to us because of this.
Those lady of lourds and the fatima prophecys indicate just that. (link posted by me yesterday I think). Even go so far as to say that many will die in that winter because God is going to make it a very cold winter.
They also say that we are going to be Wiped out because God's America the beatiful turned from him.
And that is really frightening.

Re: To Go Bag, (Warning)............

J. if your blanket is one of those silver, space, light weight things, then I must warn you that it is ALIVE.

I must have taken the Cats all night to KILL mine.

But, they did accomplish their mission and come morning, it was in pieces that were less than a foot square.

It was cold and it had arrived in the mail and so I "tried it out", got late and I thought to put it back in its pouch the next day.

I will always wonder what the battle cry was?

Excellent post Revel. It saddens me too, in a lot of ways, to see the changes of the last few years in our country.

America is special, because we were founded by believers who took the basic premise of Christianity and Judaism and expanded them to challenge orthodoxy. The notion of freedom being the natural condition of man, and the notion of people ruling themselves instead of kings were first. Then came the notion of us being a nation out to set oppressed people free. We were special. We still can be special. We just have to begin to challenge these horrible things that have crept into American culture in the last 40 or so years.

I think there are plenty of examples of God judging countries and nations NOT by the actions of unbelievers, but the inaction of believers. In that area, America has a problem, and we need to resolve it.

I wana give you a chance to see something.

its the life story of a man.
in our time.
a real man.
he gave his life defending Islam.
he protected the weak.
and helped the poor.
and defended his muslim brothers and sisters in afghanistan then in .... (i wont tell you now)
he was truly one of the leading stars in our skys.
a man that men would beg to be1 % of what he was.
a man that gave everything he has, knowledge, power, money, and health, and body, in the name of Islam, In the name of God.
he was a real hero, with a real faith, and a real identity.
he wasnt a holywood production, or a series or an episod.
he was real.

his name is (the sword of Islam) his real name you will know later.

i want to give every one here a chance to look at real men, something that most of the women in america have never seen like.
and when men see him they envey him and wish to god that they could be one day just like him.

to people that know whom i am talking about then you know what i meant in what i wrote.

but to people who have no clue i invite you to a closer look at the life and death of (the sword of Islam).

ps. to be able to show you that i need some one here from the readers who has the tec to send me (PM) a site or a link where i can upload for you all his life story, its a 2 houre movie, that will change alot of things in your life i promise you, and might be the light that might pull you out of the dark cave your living in.

"I mean you are privy to things not one soul has murmured."
,

Well that is just plain old poppycock JustPiper. That is one massive assumption on your part. A very, very incorrect assumption I might add.

1.) There have been at least FOUR SOULS that I am aware of who have brought this information specifically AND INTENTIONALLY to NEIN director Doug Hagmann, who then informed myself. Please, in the future, check your facts before getting your panties in a twist over unsubstantiated assumptions.

All told, by my count which is very conservative, there are now thousands of people who are aware of this officially unconfirmed rumor. That the US captured Osama has not been established as fact. It is a "Washington Whisper". Washington Whispers about Osama bin Laden have been circulating since the Battle of Tora Bora. They are rampant.

And since when is a rumor automatically declared to be leaked classified information? I dunno, go figure...

Don't you think I checked into this before I went public?
Are you THAT naive?
