Does that mean I can't make my "Green Salad" at Entmoot?You know...coming right after the "failed experiment" post, this makes me a wee bit nervous...

all I'd ever want to do is hold them, certainly not do so many of the things that are required but hurt...It seems to me that older volunteers could do this, if allowed by a hospital. Kids need the emotional 'medicine' as much as the clinical stuff to get well fast! That's something I might enjoy doing when the kids are all grown and gone!

They do! They have trained volunteers at every hospital I've ever worked at...they usually just come in and rock and love on the babies.
You'd be amazed. Some parents bring their kids to the hospital and never come back to visit them. The hospital has to hunt them down practically to have them come get the child when it's discharged.
It's just disgusting.
But the volunteers in the rocking chairs are the greatest, especially for little ones like this.
