Got a spare US $6,001,200.00 lying around? Have you always wanted your own navy? Well bunky, here's your chance.

Yes, but how many skiers can it pull?

Unfortunately, its been decommissioned. So you'll need to supply your own air wing, support crew, and bunkers.

Wonder if the seller will throw in 1st class air fare to come get it? For that kind of coin, the seller had best install one of those automatic toilet seats on the plane that wipe your bum for you.
Seriously, with a little work, wouldn't this make an unusual and cool cruise ship? "Steel Beach" every day, skeet shooting off the fantail, ...

Don't forget the golf driving range.
Also forget about the cost of the crew and air wing. Think how much the fuel cost would be on that durn thing.

Also forget about the cost of the crew and air wing. Think how much the fuel cost would be on that durn thing. The fuel cost would be a killer. It might be cheaper just to rip out the oil-fired powerplant and retrofit it with gas turbines.
But wait, how much draft does a carrier require? It might be too much for any port calls you had envisioned (besides Newport News and Bremerton) ...
Nope. Drydock the thing somewhere and make it into a hotel like the Queen Mary :)

The current High bidder recently purchased some toddlers toys and discount cell phone accessories.
I'm sure he's good for 7 million.
