When this happened in 91, we got Clinton...this year we will have Kerry...Repub's never learn...the rats never do this, that's why they continue to be in controll.

It would be an interesting study to look at 3rd party voting patterns based on how close the vote is, and whether 3rd party voting is more prevalent when the state outcome is a foregone conclusion.

We could start with Florida 2000. The Pat Buchanan vote almost cost Bush the presidency; the Nader vote did cost Gore the presidency. But this short post does not directly answer your query.

Yes, I'll still vote for him, but something - even symbolic in nature - had to be done.

I have even registered my complaints by e-mailing the White House directly.

I remember that after the Medicare prescription benefit was signed by Bush, I sent a pretty heated e-mail. I also wrote to my Congressman and Senators.

And this election year, if they try to pass any other liberal bill, they will get my message loud and clear.

The part of this that makes me the maddest is when the party chiefs say openly "where else are you going to go?".

They know we have little other choice, and they know we as conservatives won't help the Rats. The GOP is just lucky there isn't a real choice out there. If there were another candidate that had a real possibility of winning that was a real conservative, we'd drop Bush in a heartbeat.

Sept. 13th., 2004

That is the date that will determine if I vote for Bush, or not.

If he signs anything even remotely resembling an extension of, or permanent, "assault weapon" and "Hi-cap" magazine bans he can go to hell.

He must stop the pandering to illegal invaders as well.

I will never vote for a dumbocrat for any office, but if Bush does not get his head on strait by 9/13/04 there is a good chance I will be voting for a "third party" candidate for president.

I have a cousin living in California, he's a life long liberal. When we spoke a Christmas he explained his change of political leanings this way.

He said "there comes a time when you realize that man does NOT thrive on clean air alone. It takes food that is grown on farms, it takes lumber from trees to build a home, and it takes a job to pay for those things". He generally explained to me that the democrats have a utopian fantasy that looks wonderfull, but it doesn't work without magic.

Stop Jeb from getting any ideas. I'm fed up up with the blue-blood Bush family.

Ditto. November '04 will be the LAST time I vote for a Bush EVER. Having no choice at all but to vote for this profligate, pandering President is disgusting.

In the real world and the election that's coming, that will be the choice. Vote for Bush despite disappointment or vote for Kerry and harm the country. Either Kerry or Bush will appoint the Judges that will be with us for the next generation. Would Kerry appoint the ones closest to the beliefs of most of us? I don't think so. This dump Bush stuff is like a person who can't have the whole loaf of bread deciding they'll just starve. It's short sighted and I hope folks snap out of it. Face it, the Democrats ae going to do what they can to exploit our unhappiness. Do we want to be hot heads who play in to their heads?

The issue of illegal immigration is not only an economic one, especially in my state, but a key national security issue. Bush and his sycophant Rove have blown it.

I'm not voting this November. Until these NeoCons get a defeat -- or an electoral scare -- they will not listen to us. Just keep on giving us that smirk of theirs when they say, "where else ya gonna go?"

You either vote BUSH or you stay home. Frankly not voting says more about apathy in this country then anything.

I will gladly vote BUSH thankyou. I think he has 4 more years of goodness to do.

"Bush abandoned me, I did not abandon Bush."

Grow up; and think about the future with a Demrat who believes only in a 'collective individuality' that serves the state.

As Kerry. . .or was it Dean - doesn't matter, really; offered last week that with a Democrat in the Whitehouse; an improved American economy would be ready to 'grow more workers'.

Thought that might set off a scream from Repubs; louder than Dean's; but it was not even a blip on the radar screen.

You can be frustrated with George Bush but the alternatives for president, should make your skin crawl.
