I don't think it makes any difference. Bush is going to continue to promote open borders, citizenship for illegals, and destroying the social security and health care for Americans by enrolling the entire country of Mexico for benefits. And if he doesn't get elected the Democrats will do all of the above and more.

It doesn't matter who is elected in 2004, Vincente Fox will be our president.

In a way, GW is an example of a classical conservative, in that he has no problem using government power, big government power at that, to implement "conservative" principles. However, he has really gone even beyond that, what with medical entitlements, and this new NEA welfare for artists promise. That stuff is actually leftist, IMO.

Personally I'm getting to the point where I hope the Democrats win so I can tell the fair weather "conservatives" on here to just STFU when they start to whine about President Democrat.

Either Kerry or Bush will appoint the Judges that will be with us for the next generation.

Kerry already said that he will use a litmus test for his judicial appointments, only pro-choice liberals.

I'm really concerned about US Supreme Court. When the majority wrote her opinion on Lawrence v Texas, I was alarmed at their use of foreign law to justify their decision. I was not so much surprised at their decision, but at their rationale for arriving at their conclusions.

If we don't get another set of Thomas and Scalia in the US Supreme Court, I'm afraid our constitution will begin to take second place to some UN Charter or European Union constitution.

Please read my post again. I said that after November 2004, I will never again vote for another Bush. I never said I would never vote again.

As for the reasons, well I'm sure you're aware of them if you've been following these threads. But in a nutshell, the Farm Bill, the Energy Bill, the immigration proposal, the out-of-control spending have put me off Bushes for good. Yes, he's done a lot of good, particularly regarding the WOT. But I will never again support a Republican who spends like a Democrat. The country can't afford it.

I think there are 3 ways where we can get the WH attention to these issues.

1) Polls - Each time I get a request for a donation, they send along an RNC "Poll". I'd imagine others get these as well. Fill them out and circle those areas of contention. Update the Comments field with what you're angry about and send it back, which brings me to #2...

2) Donations: Stop. Sorry, but the fact is all organizations look at money, and if they see donations drop off significantly, they'll want to know why. Suggest they make up that money thru the Illegals who are getting that big sloppy kiss on their butts for breaking the law.

3) Letters/Phone Calls/EMails - Let them hear you. be organized. Be polite. Be direct. Let them know exactly why you are angry. Don't be afraid to let them know you'd consider other Candidates.
