This looks like Hawaii, but it's not (currently the Kilauea eruption does not have active ocean entries). This is the ocean entry of the lava flow from Piton de la Fournaise volcano on the island of La Reunion in the Indian Ocean (featured a couple of weeks ago because it also has spectacular waterfalls). So right now it has both spectactular waterfalls and lavafalls.
Click the linked source above for a page with several additional javascripted images of the eruption. Two of them are aerial photographs apparently showing the lava flow crossing the ring road around the island.
After I posted the linked article (for today), I found the main eruption page link. At the bottom are links to daily coverage of the eruption. Most of these pages have additional images (javascript), including one of a field trip that would have been fun to be on!

On this page, you can also click "Toutes les éruptions précédentes" for earlier coverage. Great stuff!

Possible caption for a few of these photos: "Mom, I'm going to be a little late coming home from school today..."
or
"When they said that we were going to have HOT lunches on this field trip, they meant it!"
Thanks for posting! Those are great!
