His health is a major problem.
Shhhhh! You're not supposed to tell!
whoops! I mean "impossibility"
I wouldn't bet on it.
"Cheney/Bush (Jeb)"
LOL, that oughta get their knickers in a twist!
Jeb/Condi in 2008.
Because you can post the following thread about Cheney on "Breaking News" and it actually IS Breaking News:
Well, Cheney is a straight shooter, and he's said he has no desire to be the president.
Vice-President Cheney is a great man. But his health is a major issue. I want to win in 2008. And let's face it, the President doesn't have a successor right now. McCain will run, probably talk like a conservative during the campaign. I'd say he's the front runner. That's probably why he rejected Kerry. Betting on a Bush win so that he'll have another shot in 2008.
When you think about the great veeps in U.S, history I'd put Dick Cheney at the top. Above Bush 41. Jim
I like Owens.

I think the best combo would be either Powell/Rice or Powell/McCain. America is ready for it's first black president, we'll sink the democrats for sure on this, as they are comming to meet with Jesus, they won't be as successful in their attempt to win over Christians (assuming this admin doesn't tick off too many evangelicals), while we'll be flipping the black vote on them.
Powell is super strong on foreign policy, McCain super on domestic. I think Cheney would serve best as Secretary of State in that administration. He's not in the best of health, but would still serve his nation well as SoS. These three big men would be the best bet to go against anything the dems could come up with.
It's partly about the press, and partly about people. He annoys certain moderates. The Haliburton thing isn't going away, even though it's good for America.
