Between McCain and Rudy? Easy Rudy.

Also, whoever the GOP nominee is in 2008, I'll vote for them. All of you who are going to stay home or vote third party if a moderate is nominated might as well vote for the Dim candidate. It's has the same effect.

No it doesn't. They subtract a vote from the Republicans total but it doesn't add one to the Democrats total. But it is still foolish.

In a primary a wide assortment of candidates run. The goal should be to seek a person of character, as conservative as possible, while keeping an eye on whether they have the ability to inspire the passions of the electorate to rally around him/her.

I doubt Rudy would win the primary, simply because I believe we have a wider stable of talent that can meet the above criteria. If Republicans chose Rudy, I could live with it because he is strong on defense and no fan of the MSM.

I draw the line at an opportunist such as McCain. He sides with the MSM over the Republican Party. He sides with Dems over Republicans. He would marginalize the conservative element fracturing the party. I will not vote for opportunists whether they be Mccain, Hagel or even Newt. Isn't going to happen.

That bears repeating! That is what the silly Rats do and they lose everytime. The only way we can hang on to the WH, Senate and the House is if everyone sticks together and goes to the polls, even if they have to hold their nose. I will vote for whatever Republican runs no matter who it is.

That's a pretty stupid view of voting for a third party conservative candidate. By voting for a conservative 3rd party candidate you are telling the Republican Party, "Hey, I'm a conservative kind of voter, but you guys aren't doing enough to keep my vote. Here I am for the next time around, let's see if you can deliver on smaller government for once."

I think that you are onto a brilliant strategy. /sarcasm.

If the voters have a choice of a liberal Democrat (aka a socialist) or a moderate to liberal Republican (aka a socialist light), we'll soon be rid of this infernal two party system that continually bleeds us for campaign donations and the Republican party will be the one that is obsolete.

And all of you who tolerate a candidate who is indistinguishable from a Democrat except for the "R" after his name will be the ones responsible.
