And the notary stamp is required to be stamped OVER the notary's name and All notary seals have the county in which they are issued on them; it's required by law.Not so....it depends on the state. In SC you do not need to put the seal over the name and the seal does not have the county name on it.

I've certainly never seen it that way. I've seen a space for the stamp, but I have never seen one with a county on it.
