Sugar cost four cents a pound; Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen; Coffee was fifteen cents a pound."

These 3 need to be listed closer together.

What will it be like in another 100 years? We will be smirking at post like this saying, "We still don't have flying cars...."

Put that in perspective - you have to work an hour to get 2 pounds of sugar and a dozen eggs. The supermarket has a dozen eggs for $1.19 and a 4 lbs of sugar for $1.39, so the equivalent wage is something like $1.80/hour.

Try living on $10 a day.
