Actually, the name Rosebud fits her to a T...She is a sweet little girl beagle and was born on the 4th of July. Our son, who was 13 at the time, thought that was the name of a firecracher and he was the one who named her. We found later out the name was from a matchbook, but it was perfect for her and the name stuck. She is the sweetest little dog. She's 11-1/2 years old now and is still our little sweetie (besides being a beagle, which means barking, baying and getting herself sick eating things she's not supposed to.) The name fits her perfectly. We'll miss her dearly when she's gone.
Well, okay, if she's 11 1/2 it's probably a little late to be giving her a new name, especially if the current one fits. But Napoleon Mouseapart is really a good name for a cat, if you're ever in the market.
