AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1797) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 22, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 12/22/2005 4:27:55 PM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good evening!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

TWU Local 100 agreed to go back to work in New York, ending the illegal transit strike there. Two million dollars worth of fines, pending appeal to a New York State Appellate Court, has been levied against the union local, and Gov. Pataki has said they will not be waived. No change in the negotiating position of either the union local or the City of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has occurred, and there exists the possibility of another walkout.

Saddam at his trial indicated the United States is "the number one liar in the world." The trial has been adjourned until January 24, 2006. In other words, so far, there have been four or five court days and weeks upon weeks of nothing.

And President Bush stated "it's been a good year for the American people."

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Caue, the Chairman.

I've never heard of a shop where they let the walk in's jump in front of people with appointments.

I don't think I'd like that much. Not much at all.

It is making a big profit, they can sell, folks are looking, then they can move up to the country, building cost has increased 15 to 20 percent. The same is happening in NO, the houses for sale did not get water, no damage amount to much. BUT! condo's getting ready to boom, multi story, one starts at 400,000 a condo to 1 million and they sill sell.

Emril (cooking show) had about half of his house destroyed but we hear he is build back, a lot of celebs live here, no way near what land cost in CA.

Maybe by next September the situation will have improved enough that no new troops will be sent, although there is a rotation schedule. I'll keep my fingers crossed he doesn't go, even if he wants to, because I know the toll it takes on families.

They don't get ahead of scheduled people, but they are "worked in." Unfortunately, when it is really busy stuff like this happens.

I am loyal to my hairdresser, not the salon. She is the ONLY person who has understood my fine hair and how to cut it so I don't look like a woggle-bug from Oz. She has my address and phone number if she goes to another salon; I will switch in a New York minute.

Usually I don't run into this problem because I get my hair done on Mondays. I should have thought about the scheduling problem.

This is a big salon and spa which is open seven days a week and late in the evening. I think they make a LOT of money on volume, etc., plu sales of products. At any rate, I will be smarter next time.

It's a weird world - our glorified trailers are selling for up to $750,000 - totally ridiculous.

I figured it out. Spooky has advanced stealth technology from aliens. That's the only thing it can be. This is a small house. There are not many hiding places. And she just freeping DISAPPEARS.

Even the Cayanne can't find her.

Someone at my unit got into my jacket where I keep my wallet and slipped a $20 into it. I NEVER carry cash in my wallet.

I don't think I'll report this incident to the OSI guys. ;>)

My niece once thought her cat had disappeared. She was distraught, searched the neighborhood, etc.

The cat had crawled into the bottom of a chair, above the bottom lining but below the springs, and was using it like a hammock.

Check chairs, the bottom of your bed, behind the stove, the space between the refrigerator and the wall, etc.

I am so disgusted with the Senate right now that I can't make a decent judgement about any of them.

That's why they should be elected by AND ANSWERING TO the state legislatures, AS SET UP BY THE FOUNDING FATHERS BUT DESTROYED BY THE SEVENTEENTH AMENDMENT. Instead, they are 'elected' by the IGNORANT, UNINFORMED SHEEPLE that want the government to give them everything. The sheeple already have their representatives in the House.

Here when the voter goes to vote they gripe because of a little wait. In Iraq they don't gripe and get shot at, killed, stand in long lines for hours, Tells you something doesn't it.

I'm betting that she's in the nasty recliner couch that needs to be put on the curb. But I don't know. I've checked under the stove, behind the fridge, everywhere. She's just got super stealth. She'll show up about 1900 to get food. Her working hours seem to be from 1900 to 0700 the next morning. ;>)

Yes, it does, GC6! How many, just to make a point, liberals would stand in long lines, NOT to mention risk getting shot at or blown up by a bomb, would do it to vote for their horrible liberal idiots?

You'll figure it out. Everybody values a little solitude, sometimes. Ah, the memory ank kicks in finally. Cats cannot resist the crinkling of cellophane. Pick a suspected hiding spot, move stealthily near it and, with a good view, crinkle away! Methinks the missing kitten will appear... How old are they?

Why is the deuce-5 on the DND list? Old, unarmored, better available transports?

Do you ever get to go for a fly and drive the airplane [unofficially, of course]? Paybacks can be hell, for the right 0-5... ;)

Thirds, also cell-free here. I don't understand why everyone here has one of those bloody things to their ear every momemt of every day. Insecurity? [Is it the 'I've gotta be talking to somebody or I'm nobody syndrome?'] Post my vote on yea for emergency, nay for BS'ing for no good reason!

NEVER!!!!! I never fly military unless REQUIRED and the option is NJP or courts martial. I would NEVER fly in a fighter. Period. Paragraph. Turn the page. Amen.

I literally wrote the book on parts of the avionics of several, back in the DOD contractor days. I know too much. Hydrazine, sitting on a rocket, flying a fuel can surrounding a hot jet engine... They aren't safe. Neither to the bad guys on the ground, or good guys in the air. One little bitty mistake, and you become a superheated grease spot. Back in the day, I've picked up remains/equipment from a high performance jet that met an untimely end.

NOPE! Thanks for playing, though.
