Keeler and Logan are Republicans. I think the writers have been pretty wisely unpartisan... Palmer's party was not obvious either. One thing is clear, they aren't trying to make a political point with which party is in power, and I'm appreciative enough of that effort to just leave it alone.

Also off topic, but speaking about Supreme Court Justices, my nephew, who is a big shot in the FDNY, sat with Chief Justice John Roberts and his family at the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Then they all went back to local firehouses to take pictures. My nephew's wife is best friends with John Roberts' wife's sister. Godmother to one of her kids.
Can't imagine what they all talked about........lol
