I am going to look for this rice. I cooked uncle Ben's brown the other night for the chinese i made and had to toss it out. It tasted odd, had a bad texture. I hope calrose is sold in michigan

Calrose is simply "sushi rice". Other brown rice is great, if you cook it enough, but not too much. You can get brown basmati, etc.

I just love the texture of the calrose.
