I find your comparison of a free American desiring to live in liberty to a barbaric savage trying to impose a religious tyranny on the entire world to be in willful ignorance of, or perhaps merely with disdain for, the relative virtue in each of those ways of life.
No matter how much a barbaric savage believes his way of life is superior to ours, it isn't going to be, and we should not have to deal with him only on the basis of accepting his claim of superiority over us.
Oh yeah, they are all savages. That's why they are helping us root out the Islamofascists, serving in our militaries, and decapitated me when I talk to them.
