Oh well. It's only 5 weeks - not like the 6+ months we had to wait last time.
But where did Adama get the nukes? didn't Baltar give the last one they had to the Six that was held captive on Pegasus?
Oh. Probably took all of Pegasus' nukes before the rescue mission to New Cap.

I believe they had 4 left after the one that was given to Baltar (early in the 2nd season). They might have also had some restocked once they found the Pegasus. And we can't ignore that they've had ~1.5 years to work on finding uranium deposits and enriching uranium or making plutonium. If I was Admiral Adama making more nuclear weapons would be very high on my "to do" list.

Oh. Probably took all of Pegasus' nukes before the rescue mission to New Cap.During the Season 2 Pegasus Episode, the Pegasus CAG asks about arms requirements with the intention of Galactica restocking from Pegasus stores.
Pegasus probably didn't use any nukes or have any nukes during the New Caprica rescue. They wouldn't have been very useful in space due to the physics (blast effect is limited in vacuum), unless you put them on a ship, and use the ship for a projectile weapon when the bomb is set off.
They would have been real bad for anyone on New Caprica.
