Dear Lord, we need these men, for they will be responsible for selecting Supreme Court judges who will restore the right to life to unborn babies. Please hear our humble prayers for our beloved country. Amen.

Father, save us and spare us from political leaders who are inclined toward evil, who use their positions for self-aggrandizement and for the sake of power, who would jeopardize our freedoms, and the freedom of people in other lands, for their political position.

Father, we are grateful that we have a man such as President Bush as the leader of this nation; that he looks to You before looking to others for direction and guidance. Bless us by blessing him with a congress he can work with, a congress that will enable him to finish the job and the purposes for which You placed him in the presidency. Amen.

Lord, as you pour out your Spirit upon this nation on this day, we pray for You to pour out your Spirit upon the people, that there would be a revival of truth faith and dependence upon You for everything in life. Our enemies consider America to be a "Christian nation," may it be so. Amen.

We come against political lies, we come against character assassination, we come against those who would build a political majority through deceit and the politics of personal destruction. They shall not succeed. In the name of the Lord.

Lord, take down and confound those political pundits who earn good money talking into the cameras and who, in pride, try to impress viewers with their false wisdom, who seek to deceive. The Lord prevails, not the pundits with a political agenda in their words.
