Don't feel bad, I hate public speaking too.

I was using the condensed milk as an example many people boil a tin of condensed milk to make caramel.

The sponge pudding is the same you boil it in water, not sure if you pierce the tin or not it will tell you on the tin if you do. With condensed milk I do not think you pierce the tin from memory but you have to make sure that the saucepan does not boil dry or then the tin will explode.

I think the safest way if you are not used to boiling tins is to open the tin and microwave the contents again I would think it tells you how on the side of the tin.

I have never thought of the Heinz logo as looking like a pineapple but I suppose it does a bit - that is where the 57 symbol used to be.

Yeah, from what I've heard, most people fear public speaking more than death. I'm not sure why I like it so much; I guess it's the notion of many people actually paying attention to you.

I guess that explains it then. If I'm going to be the center of attention, it better be for something good, and for me, giving speeches usually isn't good.

I drew cartoons in high school as just another outlet to release all the creativity that was going on in my mind. They were deadly accurate, sometimes cruelly so. Freehand -i.e. no discipline or training. It was like it wasn't me drawing, because others truly had a talent for it, or had applied themselves, if you know what I mean. Kids in your class who really had the heart in it. I considered myself more a musician and writer than an artist. I was not devoted to drawing at all.

I let it slip away for the same reasons, but throughout the years glancing at now what resembles the funny pages of my youth, often thought that the majority of newspaper syndicated artists stunk on ice, and yet they are quite celebrated. I rationalized via my own negative attitude that well, they are not as good, but they have the quality or stamina to produce anything on a dime, that's why.

Long story short, I let slip all my talents because I came to some conclusion, such as you have proclaimed, that you must now face reality and get a regular job.

I don't want to preach to you, but you will someday try to reach out to someone else, because you see your self in that person.

I understand what you mean. Especially the part about how lesser talents end up being the successful ones. I for the life of me can't figure out why any newspaper publishes Ted Rall's work. Not only is his stuff venomous and hateful, but it's also horribly drawn and painfully unfunny.

With me, I dunno. I enjoyed doing this because it was fun, and people seemed to be entertained by it. Guess it was just sort of a hobbie. Most people were kind and supportive as well...(not all). So all-in-all, it was a great experience.

Sometimes I think about getting another boa. The one I had was real pretty, and they're easy to take care of even if I have to be gone for a while.

I really love it in Alaska, and it is beautiful. If you ever get a chance to come up here for work, I'd highly recommend it!

Dear Friends, thank you so much for the birthday greetings.. It was an outstanding day of many good things including a dogie walk with a GROUP of friends & dinner at the Winking Lizard in Peninsula …OUTDOORS ON PATIO. Wow, IN OHIO IN NOVEMBER!

Some how after the age of 30 birthdays no longer are really exciting.. and it is a long way after 30 for me! Well maybe the birthdays are exciting but NOT adding the years. Will be sending those who sent me greetings a link to pix from day

Appreciate you !
