I wonder if he'll wear that Spandex in prison? I can just see the look of joy when he gets to meet his new cellmate "Tiny".

I'm confused. Is it the "embracing" that is considered false imprisonment?

The guy sounds like scum, but 6 years seems a little steep.

Just a few short years ago a friend of mine got shot in Florida and the perp got house arrest. Then the perp, within two weeks, violated the house arrest and got only 4 years.

Then the perp got out and robbed a bank. Then he did a couple of more years, got out and moved to Kalifornia and is fully rehabilitated, according to his probation officer. No one ever lies to a probation officer, especially not gang-banging murderer attempting bank robbers.

Oh, and on the original charge the perp was allowed to plead guilty to aggravated assault as his claim in court was that it was a case of mistaken identity and he actually meant to kill another guy.

this is the state of the courts today.

Michael Scott Long, 37, Brooklyn Park, Minn., was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole last Wednesday on conviction of one count of second-degree sexual assault by use of force.

...

The criminal complaint said Long confronted an 18-year-old woman at the front desk while wearing white Spandex pants and embraced her from the front and the back without her consent.

Life in prison for one count of hugging a woman without her consent at the front desk of the Country Inn Suites in River Falls, Wisconsin, while wearing white Spandex pants. This is justice?

How about spitting on the sidewalk in River Falls? Punishable by death?
