When I saw that first picture, I was trying to figure out what kind of a leg/hoof that was, until I finally saw the second picture. Fowl weather recently?

31 years ago I witnessed an angus cow strike by a twin engined Cessna aircraft (6 of the 7 witnesses are still alive). After being stuck by the right prop, the cow tumbled under the plane with the right main landing gear just missing her.

Damage to cow: cut tendon on left rear leg (his family ate hamburger for quite a while).

Damage to Cessna 310: bent right prop and spinner.

The pilot felt bad about it, saying she was one of his best cows. He was also embarrassed about the damage to the plane. It could have been a lot worse though.
