my brother had a pelican smash into the windshield of his BMW motorcycle years ago... the martial arts type, he actually grabbed it and the top of the windshield...so he claimed but I think he was telling the truth.

When I was a kid we used to pick our eggs up from a chicken farm a few miles down a country road from us. My mom was driving a 1953 Studebaker with the side window vents Which were turned all the way in as it was a very hot summer day. My brother and I were sitting in the back seat when a pheasant flew up from a ditch on the side of the road and hit the side vent. I came through the the vent plucked, gutted and landed in my brothers lap. The car was engulfed in feathers and my mom had pheasant entrails on her face and hanging in her hair. Man, was Mom mad.I got the giggles and wound up getting backhanded, LOL.
