God, do I remember that massacre, and how sick I felt at the end of it. That Nebraska team has to be included on any serious list of the greatest college football teams ever. They would have destroyed anyone they would have faced in that game.
Well, the best solution would be a playoff. But, as said before by others and myself here: All Michigan had to do was win; they didn't and neither did USC.
At least with a rematch we would have found out .We will never know now will we. At least not this year thanks to cry baby Fl. , who cries rematch all the time. Figure that one out. The difference in a bowl game is a neutral field. Ohio State was at home. That is usually worth about three points. The difference in the game.
