To all ATRWers - as you know mostly I lurk and will continue to do so. I get a lot of inspiration from youse guys, particularly the MIL and Mother caretaker types. Bev uplifted me with her love for Miss Lilly and with the love she and Larry share and how he keeps watch over her still, making sure she oils the RV, etc.

Well - just an update - this has been the year from hell as have spent most of it in and out of the hospital with cardiac problems. Just got out yesterday after throwing a tantrum and refusing any more "procedures" until after Christmas. Except for the pacemaker, a wonderful device, NOTHING has improved.
With any luck you will not have to listen to any more of this sniveling.

OK - in the "no wonder they hate us" category. Unfortunately by now just another excuse for the "Religion of Peace". "When we were for a period of time about 1990, in Singapore and Kuala Lamper, we noticed that, particularly Singapore, refused admission to Michael Jackson and Madonna "culture". This evidently was the exportation of American values.
What has our Country come to? Last Fri. I turned on TV for the first time since the election. For three hours the repeat story was whether Britney Spears was wearing underwear. GOOD LORD.
