As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
The UN says that Iran will likely begin deployment of thousands of underground centrifuges next month--a precursor step to developing a nuclear weapon.
Pelosi and Murtha were in Baghdad on a "fact finding" mission and to "convey to our troops the appreciation of the American people for what they're doing, to applaud their patriotism"--as if either of them know what these things are.
A North Carolina legislator says that if films want to use the state's "filmmaker incentive" fund, the scripts will have to be screened first to ensure there isn't anything that would be "objectionable" to the state's citizens. The legislator is a Republican, by the way ,and the notion comes on the heels of the dispicable scene in Hounddog.
Also out of North Carolina--a scientist there has developed a short-cut for the morning coffee and donuts. The caffienated donut.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good Morning Chair.
I'm wondering how many carbs are in those caffinated donuts.
I believe I'll stick with java.

good morning. Big temp change here from yesterday. When I walked the dogs this morning it was 40! yesterday about 8. Nice & balmy
Did you catch this? DST moved up three weeks to the second Sunday in March?! Can't say I mind particularly, but it sure will be dark in the morning. On March 10, civil twilight will begin at 7:25 DST and the sun won't rise until nearly 8am (7:52).
Should make sleeping late a bit easier, sans window treatments. ;)
This is the note received: Starting in the spring of 2007, daylight saving time
(DST) start and end dates for the United States will transition to comply with the Energy Policy Act of
2005. DST dates in the United States will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in
March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November).
(New DST start date: March 11, 2007
DST end date: Nov 4, 2007)
All desktops/laptops need to be patched to comply with this new Energy Policy (otherwise, your computer won't know about the change)
Please consult your OS or PC manufacturer's web site for further information.

Good morning. I woke up to some caller on the radio spewing hateful stuff about the President. If she hadn't sounded like she was 80, I would have sworn it was someone from democrat underground.
As you know, I terminated with extreme prejudice this nutso diet, and am going on a sensible weight loss plan, Weightwatchers.
As could be predicted, husband is already griping that I started on Saturday. However, the reason I did this is I talked to my sister last night and she received a two-for-one coupon in which they will wave the re-registration fee, and so all we will have to pay for is meetings. We will go starting next Saturday, as I have to stay here this Saturday in case someone calls about a vehicle we have for sale.
Boy that caller put me in a bad mood. Grrr.

The first coat, yes. I'll have to tweak some of the edges tomorrow...around the wall switches.
Then on Mon or Tues, I'm going to do a sponge/glaze treatment for the top coat.

My project today is two-fold: to organize my scrapbooking supplies and to finish cleaning out the workshop in the basement, which is only used for a bit of storage and is cobweb-city.
If I get those two things done, I have a craft project to work on, although I may not get to it until tomorrow.

I could write a book about their drivil making me angry. I just KNOW I'm going to need blood pressure medicine before spring.

My project today is to clear out a closet that contains probably 150 children's books. The ones that weren't read frequently. I'll have to wipe them all down before I put them in a bag for Goodwill.

Good morning.
Kurt, all this talk about diets reminds me of you. How are you and your family?

I'm right behind you, Jane.
I'd like to get my projects finished this morning so I can get a nap in this afternoon.
I'll check in when I stop for coffee
