Excellent post, Fluffytoo!!!! I too am having a difficult time with the Virgie bashing. I can not understand why anyone would not feel compassion for Virgie.
As you stated so well, Virgie has lost so much, in such a short period of time. I’m amazed at the strenght she has shown, inspite of much adversity. I continue to admire her greatly.
Godspeed to Virgie as she fights against HKS and his diabolical schemes.

Doesn’t make me mad in the least, I’m glad Virgie is fighting HKS every step of the way... However, if you take that statment and, word for word, change Virgie to HKS, like this:

KE was even clearer when asked whether she knew the combination was dangereous. "I know".......but she administered them anyways.
Not only did she know, she flew off to California just a few hours before she died. She said she called twice...The night she got back to California and the morning she died....and she was fine. Well, that just couldn't be.
The one big thing that is wrong with the tale Moe told is why he called Taz to check on Anna in the first place.
There's a missing piece and it has to be a phone call FROM HOWARD TO MOE when he was close to the dock.....telling Moe to call Taz. And if Taz said she was okay...why did Brigitte go and check on her further???? ...Cause Taz never checked.
The "She didn't want to go to the hospital bit???? So why did they even call 9-11?? IF she was alive, 9-11 would have rushed her to the hospital so that bit doesn't hold up.
Howard and KE set this whole thing up. The two people who were giving her drugs disappeared from the scene. Amazing timing?? Me thinks not. Premeditated murder is probably a lot closer to the truth.
Two people died before their time and no one cares except Virgie.
The grandchildren (it was their grandfather who died) are having a hard time.
Sometimes when I would talk to her about my father, she would say: "Does it make you sad to talk about your dad?" I'd say: "No, it makes my happy. He was just so wonderful". Now, she will understand.

FEMA is not a miracle organization. It means packing nd rolling. We live in a microwave world where a baked potato takes 4 minutes instead of an hour and a grocery line with more than 2 people is loooooong.
Virgie was right....Something was very wrong with that video...It hints of "pre-meditation"....something that Anna wasn't wishing for. Her two best friends.
My question now is?? How best friends were KE and Anna?? KE was obviously a "paid" best friend.
I can picture Anna confiding in KE and KE passing everything unto Howard. I believe Anna was going to testify against Howard at the inquest and had told KE in secret. The rest is History.
Agree - FEMA is comprised of people first. There is no way to plan for natural disasters until they strike. The logistics would be a challenge under any circumstance. When you realize that Greensburg has no water, gas, electricity, roads, structures - it’s akin to pioneers moving west in wagons.
What was devastating about Katrina was watching people find the energy to loot and others passively waiting for the Govmint to make decisions for them.
I too am surprised at the lack of compassion for VA in view of what is known.
I also have a difficult time imagining KE and ANS as friends. It is not the age difference so much as the IQ, education, lifestyle, and other things
Well, SDC was a hot and muggy day. Did NOT get to see the darn acrobats. We put off going until too late and a Saturday is definitely NOT the day to go. Waited in line three separate times to see them and the place filled up before we got there. We did see some other acts (Polynesian dancers, african singers, some guy from Aussie land) that made the day worthwhile and, of course, the meal at the Mill was sooo good. Plus, since we are idiots, we did not “get” what parking lot we parked on so when the tram took us back we had to walk across to the one we ACTUALLY parked at. I guess since we ate like hogs it is a good thing we were walking our azzes off. I gotta get me some betta walking shoes!

And ahh, the old losing your car in the parking lot. That hasn’t happened since the old high school rock concert days.....(if you know what i mean)
No luck finding curtains yesterday. We went everywhere. Didn’t get home til 3:30. Missed the Kentucky Derby.
Do you KNOW how hard it is to find cafe curtains in decent fabric colors these days. I went everywhere. Finally gave up and decided to go to the fabric store today and make them myself. Yep. Gonna do it. Last resort of desperation. WTH do people do for decent kitchen tiers these days anyway? JCP Custom Decorating? Ain’t got the money for that. Will fire up the old sewing machine and see if i still remember how to use it. Too bad my daughters not here to help me with the bobbin and theading the maching. That’s the hardest part, threading the maching. Up thru this thing, over that thing. around the other thing. Drives me nuts.

In addition to the legal quagmires ANS left behind, she leaves an even more fascinating psychological case study in group dynamics. That material would make a better movie IMHO.
Picture this: 2 well educated professionals dependent on one promiscuous, illiterate, dingy, 8th grade drop-out for their income and lifestyle. What the hail did these three people have in common?
It seems likely that HK$ and KE eventually resented and despised Anna. She was demanding, willful and did pretty much whatever she wanted.
HK$ realized that in order to maintain pursuit of the Marshall estate through Anna he had to control her life with drugs. For KE, Anna provided access to C-list celebrities and secondarily as a dependent-patient she could manipulate with drugs.
When KE lost her reputation and professional standing in the July 2006 LASCERA decision, maybe she blamed Anna for taking time that should have been better spent and the beginning of KE’s resentment toward Anna.
At some point, HK$ realized he had squandered his legal career on this ungrateful, demeaning, emasculating woman who treated him no better than a kept stray dog.
Does anyone think that HK$ and KE did not despise Anna?

Lawyers are already saying that it is unlikely that Paris will serve any time because of overcrowding. And her lawyers are already pleading for community service, a lecture circuit and so on. I will be shocked if she’s there for more than a couple hours wait time, then dismissed and told to come back another weekend.

One other thing that’s bugged me. One all the earlier videos KE seems to have long lanky hair down, past her shoulders or up - with no bands, in a bun. On the flight back from California interview/video, where her affect is so. . . inappropriately light and completely without a trace of anything like grief, she appears to have had a complete hair re-do.
I understand the makeup, but she appears to have just had her roots colored (come on, she’s 60, not a blond like that video)and the shaggy cut is perfect. So my annoying, female mind says, “who flies to California and gets their hair done when their best friend is begging her to stay because they’re so sick from whatever - flu, withdrawal, sepsis.”
It just keeps occuring to me that she, KE, KNEW when she went to California that she’d be on camera alot after that and like I would, if I knew I had wedding or party photos coming up, got herself touched up. She doesn’t even look that “good” in the funeral photos, so IMO her “do” was freshly done right before the TMZ or ET video and by the funeral time it was less freshly “done.” Female that I am, it tells me she didn’t get re “done” in the Bahamas.
This is either completely catty feminine observation or one that no self-respecting male investigator would ever think of as being relevent. As an upcoming-event-photo-op conscious female, me thinks this too is another piece of very relevent evidence of pre-knowledge of the Florida events.
