Thanks, mom4kittys. Hope all Moms, step-moms, Aunts, sisters, cousins, Grandmothers, Great Aunts, and daughters (on this thread) have had a wonderful blessed day (does that cover it all, Jane?)

I even wish the same for all the fathers, uncles, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, great uncles, cousins, and sons....lurking or posting on this thread.

:-)

LOL - that's cute. Children.

Yes, think of Virgie worrying about Anna Nicole and then her worst fears fulfilled - and NOTHING being done about it. Nor about her grandson's untimely death.

The only thing being done is Virgie continuing to be villified.

I hope Larry B manages to be a good daddy for that baby. And one way to be a good daddy is to involve his daughter's maternal grandmother in the baby's life. HE MUST do this or the damage to Virgie (and, indirectly, to Anna's memory) continues - and is caused by him.

God bless Virgie today on Mother's day especially. Keep up the good fight, Virgie.

If she is under investigation...why aren’t we finding her name listed?

Good question - maybe a letter to the California Medical Board is in order?

Villified? LOL, y’all are doing a pretty good job on LBirkhead and his family, too. I feel fairly confident that LB will be at least as good a father as Virgie was a mother.

I hope that Virgie gets satisfaction concerning Daniel and Anna Nicole. In fact, I hope we all do. The last few days of Anna’s life were just totally unreal. She was neglected by the people who were supposed to be caring for her. People need to take responsibility for their actions, or inactions..

Virgie probably should give Larry and his family a little time. Things have to heal a bit. Too much stress on all. IMO. And I wish that Virgie’s big-time lawyer would retract the statement he made that even if Larry was determined to be Dannielynn’s bio father, that Virgie would still go for COMPLETE CUSTODY of Dannielynn. I’m sure that gave the entire Birkhead clan a real lift!

Lawyer hasn’t retracted as far as I know...Perhaps someone knows? I heard Virgie tell Greta that she was not going for complete custody, but I am afraid that her lawyer might be the one who is driving the car, and Virgie just a passenger.

Apologies in advance. Can’t help what I think, JMO.

Thank you for the nice Mother’s Day wishes for everyone, and I want to extend my own Happy Mother’s Day wishes for everyone here...(including Mommies of kitties)! I hope everyone had a great day! I definitely had a great day, and I feel so much sympathy and wish only good memories for Virgie, for her daughter, Vicki, and her grandson, Daniel. I really hoped to hear that Larry (with Dannielynn) had flown to Texas for a surprise Mother’s Day visit with Virgie...but no such luck. : ( I can only hope that Mother’s Day will be better for her next year! I really wish the best for all of you here, and hope your day was the best!

You’re welcome!

I, too, think Daniel should be exhumed for closer examination.

Timelines . . . sketchy in both cases, but primarily based upon the word of HKS in Daniel’s death - so there’s not much dependable info.

Here’s a link to stlnative’s home page for your perusal:

(if you bookmark my FR profile page make sure you refresh your screen each time you visit it so that you are getting the updated tables)

I don’t think the question of what staff might have been on duty at Horizons has come up. If anyone was there and HKS made a side trip, would they talk?

There are too many questions and I’m ready for answers! (as I’m sure everyone else here is)

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day! Thanks for the pretty posts.

mom4kittys, I have furry grandchildren - so, IMO they count as kids.

TexKat, the serenity and glamour of the lady in your Mother’s Day post tells me - the kids are with a sitter. ;)

After reading the news this morning...can we all add the 3 yr old little girl lost in Portugal to our prayers.

Seems she was with her family there on holiday and the parents left her and her 2 year old twin siblings sleeping alone in their hotel room while they ate dinner.

I wonder who in the hell could leave those babies alone in another country like that.

Yes, leave them to go eat dinner. That is so sad. I mean they could afford to travel to an other country and stay in a nice place, IMO they should of brought a nanny or sitter.
Who knows what happen to that poor child. And I'm sorry, but IMO the vid i saw with the parents talking they did not look very upset about the whole thing. Millions have been put up as a reward. Who are these people? Oh these really upsets me

“Good question - maybe a letter to the California Medical Board is in order?”

This is the spokes person for the CMB, Candi Cohen, who issued the information SAYING that they would be investigating KE.

http://www.mbc.ca.gov/Media.htm

I ,too, have checked several different places on the CMB site and have NO idea why Khris Eroshevich’s name does not appear on any “hot sheet,” invesigation list, the May or April list of physicians under investigation, or on any other “materials” list of the agency’s posted several page “agenda lists” from March through the current date. I wonder if either Hollywood, or some “in the pocket” politician has jammed the Board’s investigative efforts or if the Board is simply unable to proceed because KE has left the States.

In either case they owe it to the public to render to us, the taxpayers, some accounting of their efforts to protect us from such unscrupulous physicians. If they are unable to do so, perhaps we should begin petitioning the state legislators to strip the “self-policing” function from the board and allocate it to a public agency under the control of the legislators. (I believe that last comment would get their attention. It is my impression that the California Medical Board fiercely does NOT want another outside agency to take over their policing duties.)

Great points.

Can those outside of California also put pressure on CMB?

Hi everybody - just a quick post and will be back later to read and catch up - have been dodging T-storms for 2-3 days and offline a lot. May have to do it again shortly, too.

Anyway, two items:

.TMZ is reporting that Ron Rale has filed Anna’s 2001 will in CA for probate - and has added Larry in as Dannielynn’s guardian. TMZ says docs are to follow.

http://www.tmz.com/2007/05/14/anna-nicole-smiths-will-officially-filed/

.The Insider had a tiny item about Howie going to France ... they said “not to screen the new Willa Ford movie on ANS’s life” ... but to “support” Anna’s “Illegal Aliens” movie at Cannes.

(And I thought *I* knew how to squeeze a dollar - won’t be going to France anytime soon on my “zero” budget, allegedly the same as his!) ... more later.

How disgusting. I’m sure Edgewood Studios is coughing up the money for him to go. They probably know his presence..good or bad ..will garner publicity for the film. A rotten movie is a rotten movie...nothing is going to save it. Ohhh as for Rales and the will..hmmph..probably hoping that by listing Larry there won’t be any appeals and the will will stand...sniff sniff...is that a deal that I smell.

“Can those outside of California also put pressure on CMB?”

I would think that anyone could write to them and tell them that you were also writing to Greta or whomever. The Board is usually fairly sensitive to negative public opinion. From previous issues, I’ve noticed that they are reeeeallly sensitive to the idea that their self-governance should be removed because they’re doing a bad job or are being non-responsive to their public duties. For example I’m pretty certain that all the negative press after ANS’s death caused the CMB to authorize Candi Cohen to finally issue the “we are looking into it, even though we don’t usually tell anyone we are until there’s a decision” statement. That WAS atypical and IMO was only because of the pressure of public opinions, negative emails, etc.

I think letters or emails to them with cc’s to any media outlet - a newspaper, a TV station or reporter, or to any public figure - like your state representative or senator about their non-activity, would disturb them if they got enough of them.
