I wonder, if he had known her name and said KE, what HKS would have done...I don’t recall if it was obvious where O’Quinn was going with his line of questioning...I don’t know where to find a transcript of the proceedings.
All in all, HKS was imo, purposefully ‘dead’ on the stand. His voice was monotone, there was little or no emotion in his face, he chose his answers slowly and carefully, knowing the judge would grow impatient and interrupt to ‘move on’, as he tap danced or was defiant with the judge. Even as a witness, HKS controlled the ‘show’.
