No doubt, she may a piece of garabage, but you really think she is a BIGGER pile for forcing the issue and exposing this abusive piece of garbage? Not even close, unless she is equally abusive toward the kid. I think this kid has a lot more to worry about than the "news cycle", like maybe having an abusive dad...I have known plenty of bad women in my life, and will Kim Baldinger may be evil, we, as judges in the court of public opinion, are faced with this piece of evidence: Alec Bassingbald has shown time and time again to be angry and violent, and has gotten a pass from the media. This will finally expose this guy for what he is. Imagine the Little League World Series and a coach berating the players, calling them selfish little pigs within earshot of the camera- how long before there would be an outcry from the public and a forced resignation? I would much rather be called a nappy-headed ho by some crusty old DJ than have my dad call me a pig...

To wit: I and Blue Turtle point out that Baldwin was likely not the ONLY adult who behaved badly here, and you immediately insist that we're attempting to justify what Baldwin did. You fail to see, or refuse to see because it makes you too uncomfortable, that obviously no one is attempting to justify Baldwin's behavior. But it is not obvious to you either because you're too proud or scared to acknowledge that the mother may ALSO bear responsibility, or because you really can't help it because somehow, some way, you got short-changed in the logic department.

Again, I smell personal projection here on your part -- maybe you're close to a woman who has condoned her own kids treating their ex-dad with disrespect in a way that they would NEVER EVER EVER tolerate in the kids with regard to themselves.

After listening to the rant I don’t think he was drunk...just pissed. There isn’t a divorced father out there that doesn’t know things get pretty tough sometimes but Alec was radically OVER the edge on this. To call his own daughter a pig in anger like that is mind numbing

Wrong again. The thing in my pants would seem to indicate that I am indeed a male. How you interjected the founder's denying women the right to vote in any way, shape, or form is beyond me and would indicate a lapse on YOUR part when it comes to logical thinking. If you wish to get personal and make attacks, by all means, do your best. Kim Baldinger, who may be Satan incarnate for all I know, released the tape to the public, in what I consider to be a brilliant way to expose this asshole in a way that no spin-meister will ever be able to reason away, without the help of enablers in the media.

As a woman myself, indeed I do regard good women very highly indeed.

I defined good women the same as I define good men: those individuals who strive to control the more negative tendencies of their sex. I admire men, for example, who though they are much stronger physically than women, strive to keep that strength in check when they are angry. Baldwin is most decidedly a textbook example of a FAILURE in that regard. Not a good man.

Conversly, I regard with huge contempt silly women who indulge their tendencies toward emotionalism and illogic. It gives all of us women a bad name. I think women's tendencies toward emotionalism and disregard for logic is why the founding fathers didn't give them the vote, and it was wise of them. Women have the same responsiblity as do men in controlling the behavioral weaknesses that correlate with their sex. As a woman, I CAN CALL OTHER WOMEN OUT when they indulge in silly-illogical-emotional-women crap. Men can't.

You need seriously to rethink your conclusion that those on this forum who opine that Basginer is probably just as disgusting as Baldwin are attempting to justify Baldwin's behavior. You are, if you'll pardon my saying so, behaving more like a woman in your thinking here.
