If the other 10 issues overtake us, we’ll need RKBA even more.

Hannity poll. Though illegal immigration is important as an issue, so is the RKBA!

Internet polls aren’t worth the paper they are printed on (!)
But your obvious passion for this has led me to lend my support - I’ll go and click

Do you ever wonder why Sean Hannity never really brings up gun-control issues???
He has brought up the discussion a few times...Maybe not as much as he should, or to the amount some may think he should...
But if you look at all the other push button stuff listed there...And the fact that therte is a noticable drop in the precentages between the 3rd and 4th topic...
If you ask me I think we are in pretty good shape if we keep our eyes and ears open and keep the McCarthy type “Super AWB” bills in check...
Just my take on it...

Please note that this poll doesnt display the results in order of their vote count. If you read the percentages, RKBA is #4 on the list.

The 2nd amendment secures our freedom!
“The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do. But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failedwhere the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once”.

I agree. That's why when I look at a candidate for office I look at his/her position on protecting the Second Amendment and whether they will work to protect our right to arm ourselves as we see fit. The way I see it, if a politician can't be trusted to protect the Second Amendment then they can't be trusted with anything else.
And I'll see your quote and raise my favorite:
"How a politician stands on the Second Amendment tells you how he or she views you as an individual...as a trustworthy and productive citizen, or as part of an unruly crowd that needs to be lorded over, controlled, supervised, and taken care of."

Why? we know at least 12 million people here in the US, can keep and bear arms. Or, anything else they want to do. Since they are lawbreakers, anyway.
OOps. Sorry. Din’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelin’s.

Been there.
FReeped that.
While the other issues are important, I’ve noticed that those who get the 2nd Amendment right usually get all of the others right as well. If you’re going to go single-issue in an election, the gun issue is the one to pick.
