Roswell officer's amazing deathbed admission raises possibility that aliens DID visit
Daily Mail ^ | 6/30/07 | Nick Pope

But last week came an astonishing new twist to the Roswell mystery - which casts new light on the incident and raises the possibility that we have, indeed, been visited by aliens.

Lieutenant Walter Haut was the public relations officer at the base in 1947, and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on the orders of the base commander, Colonel William Blanchard.

Haut died last year, but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death.

Last week, the text was released and asserts that the weather balloon claim was a cover story, and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar. He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.

He wasn't the first Roswell witness to talk about bodies. Local undertaker Glenn Dennis had long claimed that he was contacted by authorities at Roswell shortly after the crash and asked to provide a number of child-sized coffins.

I’m skeptical but in learning more — do you know where the affidavit can be read on the internet?

So that’s what Robert E. Lee did after the war.

Oh please. That isn’t even a good way to say that you have zero facts.

Unexplained does not mean a damn thing.

When ancient man could not understand thunder and the seasons and everything else he ascribed to those causes superhuman powers that controlled such events.

Straight up modern day Anthromorphimsm, and I’m being kind. google the word.

You got nothing at all.

The Bible along with the ancient writings of the Sumerians (and most other ancient writings) all mention and write about ABs and their assent and descent to and from heaven (which is the sky). This is NOT a LIE and if you say so then you do NOT KNOW what you are talking about.

Read the Hebrew and the Christian Bible and the writings older than the Bible (from which some of the Biblical stories were taken) and you will be knowledgeable. Just as the Bible writes about the flood, the other ancient text (older than the Bible) also writes about the flood, in the Middle East, and the other killer storms elsewhere in the world, that destroy most of humankind. In each instance the survivors were warned to take actions to save themselves by what they considered the Gods.

I dunno. I had assumed that if they had mastered interstellar space travel, they would have put liberalism aside long ago. IMHO, a society dominated by liberals will eventually find itself back in the Dark Ages.

"You doubters can laugh if you wish, but I have seen the documentary Men in Black and I am sure that aliens are real."

Thank goodness for Documentaries, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't know whats going on in the world.

MM and his latest are just an example. /s

For the believers of such fantasy I suggest the writings of Zecharia Sitchin, more importantly his book The 12th Planet. Maybe old Zecharia can convince you that not only are Aliens real but that you are a decedent!

Okay, so you keep a closed mind and ignore unexplained happenings and write them off as delusions or whatever. Sort of like many did over the idea of flight, right?

What delusions possessed ancient artists to depict flying craft with men in them from before the time of Christ? Not as part animal, part human, in your “Anthromorphism,” but as full fledged men sitting inside of some object flying through the air.

What possessed ancient peoples to create depictions of animals, birds and insects so large they can only been seen from high up in the air?

Like I said, some things we behold cannot be explained as of yet. We ‘most intelligent creatures’ in all of the Universe simply don’t know. To scoff at one possible explanation and simply write it off as “tin foil hat” time rises well above arrogance.

People like you crack me up.

I neither said they are real or that they are false, just a possibility until proven otherwise. While some ‘sightings’ are obviously fakes, others cannot be shown either way and remain unexplained and unidentified.

I’ll repeat myself, the height of arrogance and you showed it.

the military was really spooked about something at that time.

If you're a science fiction fan, the book "Genesis" by W.A. Harbinson is one of the best Sci-Fi books linking science fiction to reality that I've ever read.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean reality as reality but rather sci-fi that leaves you with a feeling of "Hmmmmmmmmmm.....".

If you believe in UFO's but can't bring yourself to believe in extra-terrestrial beings then this book will set you off in another direction that you might not have ever considered.........

I highly recommend it.

“I’ll repeat myself, the height of arrogance and you showed it.”

And I will repeat myself too - We mock what we do not understand. One would think at this point our minds would be more open to any possibility. Any proposal to discuss UFOs, big foot, ghosts, etc., will be shut down immediately with comments about tin foil. I don’t know what is out there either but this attitude feels so Dark Ages to me. I am serious. I had a very unusual experience once but I’d never discuss it for fear of humiliation. Other people must feel the same. Hence, we get nowhere. I believe that is the goal of those who deep down cannot handle the possibilities.

I had assumed that if they had mastered interstellar space travel, they would have put liberalism aside long ago.

Why would you think that? Modern humanity is not substantively different than ancient humanity, when you get right down to it. The names and faces are different, but human nature is the same as it's always been.

I doubt that it'd be any different for the martians, either.

See the point where the C problem falls apart is when you start considering things like “warp drive.” Someone’s going to jump on me here, so I’ll don my asbestos suit, but anyway...

It has been mathematically proven theoretically possible to fold space-time so that you are not travelling locally faster than the speed of light, but to an outside observer you travel many times faster than light. You don’t violate general relativity (or special relativity). We already know that space-time can be formed by incredibly massive objects (stars, massive planets) so it follows through special relativity that since E=mc^2, you can replace a mass with a certain amount of energy equal to the mas multiplied by the square of the speed of light, so theoretically we should be able to (with enough energy) bend space-time.

Now, this was a VERY simplified explanation, but I will try to find a link to the paper that I read on the subject. The down side is that in order to generate sufficient energy, you pretty well need to use matter-antimatter reactions. And we currently have no way of mass-producing antimatter.

Hope I didn’t geek out too far.
