Wild about Harry
Exclusive: What Potter author left out J.K. Rowling gives details on what happens after books final epilogue
Spoiler alert: This story reveals some key plot points in the final Harry Potter book. So if you've haven't finished the book, J.K. Rowling asks that you not read this story.
If you found the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows rather vague, then J.K Rowling achieved her goal. The author was shooting for nebulous, something poetic. She wanted the readers to feel as if they were looking at Platform 9¾ through the mist, unable to make out exactly who was there and who was not.
I do, of course, have that information for you, should you require it, she told TODAYs Meredith Vieira rather coyly in her first interview since fans got their hands on the final book.

Potter Ping!
I just want to know if Harry dies???
My son just finished the book, turns out Harry is Darth Vader’s father
It was Colonel Mustard, in the library, with a lead pipe...
He was dead the whole time, he just didn't know it.
Everybody dies eventually.
yes and no. got it? haha
It turns out that he was shot and killed by Rollo Tomasi during a purse snatching. Very sad.
I assume you’ve seen this?
No Potter ping went out for some reason...
Harry sleeps with the fishes.
...but that's really more of a personality quirk than anything else.
A complete and utter lie. There is not ONE thing in the Potter books which reflects real Wiccan practices. Not one.
And I should know.
