You never know what is going to happen in a day in the life of ME. Today I got an invite via my day job at Pappas to meet Rita Cosby tonight at ONE Sunset in WeHo. She is promoting her book she wrote about Anna Nicole Smith.
A few weeks ago there was a lot of hubbub around her book because in it she outs Larry and Howard as gay lovers. Then Howard fired back that he was going to sue the pants off of her for slander. Since then Howard did an interview on Larry King explaining away all the allegations of him recording Anna in that awful clown make up as well as the now infamous death pictures that have been turning up on the web. Geraldo then did a story proving that Howard is a big fat liar and now more proof has come to light that Anna took over 8,000 pills over the course of six weeks. Experts are saying that no one could take that many pills without assistance from someone else giving it to them.
So who is more wrong? Rita for writing a book that has sources like hotel employees quoted in her book. Or Howard for being a blatant liar and a certain enabler of a deeply troubled drug addict? What an awful mess!!
So what do I ask this woman? I have to interview her in a few hours. I need help coming up with good questions. Talk to me people!!!

They are never mentioned again in the “frantic” activity that followed and I want to know, from their own mouths, what they observed of HKS’s behavior in that time period.
.Do the Seminoles know what the “brown substance” was in the half-covered container by ANS’s bed at the hotel - and they’re not telling - or was it even tested at all?
.By most accounts, Daniel didn’t do drugs on any kind of regular or addictive basis. Has anyone dug up any friends or witnesses in L.A. who say he did?
.Khristine Eroshevich claimed to have been with Anna Nicole all through her pregnancy and the birth of Dannielynn. Is that true or not? All we’ve seen proof of is that she showed up in Nassau on Sept 15th, 5 days after Daniel’s death and 8 days after Dannielynn was born, and then stayed for 6 months. Where was she before Dannielynn’s birth?
.Ray Martino has to know the most about Daniel’s last weeks/months on earth - has he talked about this publicly or do we have any hints as to what he might say if he testifies at the inquest?
On another thread Drew Peterson was discussed. His third wife death was ruled an a accident some four years ago. Now his fourth wife went missing. Guess what? The case of the third wife is being reopened. Too much of a coincidence, it was said.
Yet Perper saw nothing suspicious in the deaths of ANS in spite of what happened to Daniel.
NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) _ Anna Nicole Smith’s mother said Tuesday that she hopes an inquest into the death of her 20-year-old grandson will lead to justice as a Nassau court gathered potential jury members to hear the case.
Virgie Arthur, who flew to the Bahamas for the long-delayed proceedings, has suggested foul play contributed to Daniel Smith’s death last year from a combination of drugs, including methadone and antidepressants.
”I hope this starts the process of justice,” Arthur told reporters as she entered the courthouse.
The Bahamian Coroner’s Court needs a seven-member jury to explore whether the death of the former Playboy playmate’s son was accidental, suicide or perhaps even a homicide. More than a dozen potential jurors arrived Tuesday, but it was unclear when jury selection might begin.
Authorities did not allow journalists into the courtroom, citing a lack of space in the same room that accommodated much larger groups of reporters during earlier sessions.
Daniel Smith died Sept. 10, 2006, as he visited his mother three days after she gave birth in a Nassau hospital to her daughter, Dannielynn.
Anna Nicole Smith died in Florida on Feb. 8 at age 39 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, including the painkiller methadone and a powerful sleep aid.
In February, Arthur claimed in a television interview that Smith’s boyfriend-turned-attorney Howard K. Stern played a role in both deaths, but she did not provide evidence.
Stern has feuded with Arthur over issues including the grandmother’s access to Dannielynn and the burial location for Anna Nicole Smith. As the executor of the late reality TV star’s will, he filed papers last month to make Dannielynn the sole beneficiary of Smith’s estate, which stands to inherit millions from the oil fortune of her late husband J. Howard Marshall II.
The inquest had been delayed by a challenge from Stern’s legal team, which wants jurors to take a questionnaire to test for possible bias. Stern did not attend the session Tuesday.
An attorney for Arthur, Neil McCabe, said he hopes the probe will clarify whether anyone bears responsibility for Daniel’s death.
”We have our own ideas and our own suspicions. We just hope the inquest will get to the bottom of this,” McCabe said.
Stern, who came to the Bahamas with Smith last year, has been living in the waterfront home they shared and initially claimed he was the father of her infant daughter. He gave up custody last spring after DNA tests proved Smith’s ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead is the father.

Nancy Grace's show is going down hill. Boring. Mostly drunk drivers and drug addicted parents. And there is Perper to whom she throws irrelevant, softball questions. Not a word about the inquest. She supposedly is for the victims. I have yet see her demand justice for Daniel.
Is your problem a fungus? There’s an herbal - shredded tree bark (bought by the ounce at health stores), but I can’t recall the name. Two words, kind of exotic sounding. I’ll try to find it. I used to have a baggie of it in my kitchen cabinet.

Thanks for the info - adding it to my file. I did think it could’ve been a fungus way back when it started, many months ago, because it first broke out as a rash on the knuckles of both hands - not long after I had scraped out pumpkins for pie, custards and as fall flower vases.
They were little sugar pumpkins and my hands would scrape across the other side as I used the scraper on the nearside, because it was “close quarters.”
It took about a month for the rash to show up (it started right before Christmas, I think, because I couldn’t cook my holiday meal or treats). I researched online and found that it had been a bad year for pumpkins, fungus-wise, so I started there.
I tried some things from the drug store (I no longer have any money, insurance, car, or my doctor anymore, so couldn’t do much) but nothing “cured” it. Mostly the itching was beyond tolerable. I did what I could to stop that and finally did - but the little spots never did go completely away.
Opinions ranged from thinking it was shingles to scabies (I pretty much think it was mites of some type, which got into my system through the many small scrapes in my skin from the pumpkin stuff - and the 30-day “incubation” cycle matches that).
Then, the least little thing would set it off again and each time was worse, over the past 10 months. Sometimes it goes completely away for 6 weeks or more, then recurs. Each time, the blisters break out in new places where they didn’t before, but just a tiny space different. (There are 1000s of them.)
As it progressed, it eventually started affecting the webs between my fingers, which is indicative of itch mites. Then, they got on the sides of some fingers, which rubbed against each other just in everyday life.
At one point, a blister broke out on the underside of one finger, just a space apart from one of the finger-side blisters, and continued to be irritated because of touching everything. The others were on the top of the hand and not subject to repeated touching.
That one got infected without my even realizing it until it was kind of too late. I mean, I wash my hands constantly, anyway (not OCD-like, tho - but it’s starting to seem like it!) because of how and where I’m having to live now as a poor person. But, because my hands hurt, I was tending to favor them and not wash the rashy part as often, because it hurt.
When I discovered the infection, I got serious about combatting it and stopped it from spreading, but now have a very badly damaged stretch of tissue on the finger (my right-click finger of my mouse hand!) that hasn’t healed.
Then I got a new breakout about 3 weeks ago and it has been hell ever since then. It’s all infected (or looks like it, anyway - the weeping is still clear, tho, not cloudy or yellow) and I think it must be staph or MRSA. So, that’s what I’m treating it as now, as far as I can. I’ve developed a bad reaction to Neosporin (even the new cream I got yesterday, not just the ointment) - and I’ve never used it much or had many antibiotics in my life - could probably count on one hand, from childhood on.
I was very scared 2 days ago and in a lot of pain, expecting that I might be in very serious trouble, healthwise. But I prayed and tried some new things and I feel a little better about it now, tho it hasn’t changed. I “feel” like it’s maybe 2-5% better - can see some lighter-colored skin among the red patches, which wren’t there yesterday or the day before.
Sorry to be a one-note Johnny here, but it has consumed my every waking moment now. I keep hoping someone else has had it and beaten it and I can learn from it by describing it. I don’t talk to anyone on a daily basis - so this is my outlet.

yes, phisohex, that we knew and loved in our childhoods, has gone behind the shelf on prescription only - currently about $35/bottle even with ins. it worked too well, and has become the scapegoat for the runaway mrsa and other nasties like a.baummanni and p.letoula (well you know it’s easier for the meds to blame a soap instead of decades of filthy hospital housekeeping practices)
I am fearful this condition will get into your bloodstream. I hope after you get your checks you can go see a doctor. Have you contacted the Salvation Army? they might be a resource for a referral to a low-cost clinic.

Nope, whenever I finally “sign up” or “sign out,” it will be my last hurrah. I will have given up. Until I do, there is still hope - and I still have a roof over my head and some food.
Nope, ‘twasn’t I. I had to throw in the towel on the Hogans/Harts/Smiths early on. I had a ton of the info gathered, but just didn’t want to do what I would have had to do to put it all together.
I don’t have any paid databases anymore, so whatever the pro genealogists came up with, I had to go with - unless I saw some mistakes - which I did - every single one of them has made them.
I am at a great handicap because this puter doesn’t play videos and I don’t have cable - but only because people have seen a lot of interviews that weren’t ever transcribed and with people whose names were never revealed. ANS *herself* isn’t *that* important to me, anyway, in the big scheme of things. She was the victim, not the perp.
It’s all the other “secret” or “invisible” connections that interest me more.
Anyway, I didn’t find that Celeria person, but leave it to someone trying to find “dirt” on Virgie to do so (with paid databases and a PI, no less). I don’t really go along with that. I certainly can’t look down my nose at her, by any stretch of the imagination - she’s much better off than I am - but there are also people you run across in life that just don’t need any more putting down by anyone, so I don’t really want to add to it.
ANS is a different matter, as are most of the rest of the cast of characters.
