I've never seen South Park (hard to believe, I know), but I have been wondering if it is the source of this expression, "bwaaaaahaahaa" that folks frequently post?
(I don't mean to imply any criticism of SP, which I know is very popular. I'm just getting a little long in the tooth and don't have much interest in pop culture anymore...rarely watch entertainment tv, never seen Boston Legal, Dancing with Stars, American Idol, which is not to suggest that SP has much to do with these more mainstream shows. Also never seen The Daily Show. I need help to follow the converation, re: bwaaaahaaahaaa.)
Well, I doubt the South Park guys got it from here, but I’m familiar with “Bwha-ha-ha” as Keith Giffen and JM DeMattis used to use that particular laugh during their run on “Justice League” during the late 80s/early 90s. It was written in the books exactly like that, but they were trying to imply the type of ominous chuckle that the bad guy in old movies would use.
Does that make any sense? Probably not. Anyway, just imagine Vincent Price laughing when you see it, and you’ll be pretty close.
