**Ladies and Gentlemen...it's the FR College Football 2007-08 Bowl Games Thread**

Posted on 12/19/2007 1:19:19 PM PST by GOP_Raider

It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...

--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...

During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.

Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)

Looks like someone woke Florida up!

I am suprised at Michigan hitting as hard as they are—this looks like any other Sat. in the SEC.

Whole new ball game - 28-28 1:26 left in the 3rd. Neither team looks like it can stop the other at the moment, this game may come down to another mistake (missed fg, fumble, etc)

Florida 28, Michigan 28 end of Q3.

It's a measure of my contempt for Llllloyd Carr that I'm actually hoping the Gators beat a Big 10 team.

It’s definately a hard game to decide who to root for. We hate both of these teams. LOL!

I am splitting my viewing with this game and the Hockey game (huge SABRES fan).

The hockey game has been interesting, the wind and snow has made it a sloppy yet fascinating game.

True, I had made a prediction that Mizzou would take “its anger” over not going to the bowl championship out on the Razzorbacks. Proven right, that Mizzou is not one to be messed with.

Buffalo 1 Pittsburgh 1 at the end of Regulation.

Pittsburgh gets a Hooking Penalty at the 0:00 mark -- Buffalo will start overtime on a full Power Play.

True, the SEC has some of the largest and slowest players in college football. :) Mizzou beaten out AK is proof positive that the SEC has its share of weaknesses. Georgia take note or otherwise the bulldogs will be saying “no mas” before it is all over at the Sugar Bowl tonight. :)

TOUCHDOWN Virginia.

Virginia 28 Texas Tech 14 11:26 left.

I really thought this one was going to be a very high scoring shootout, but Tech has played horrible today.

Goes to show do not messed with an angry Mizzou, or otherwise the SEC would pay for it in not having its sweep. :)

As a UConn Huskies fan who had seen during the regular season how the Virgina Cavalers can grind down the opposition to the point of tiring it, it does not suprise me. UConn lost to them.

I don’t see how anyone could be surprised by Missouri killing Arkansas. Alabama beat Arkansas. I’m not real confident that Georgia will fare so well either. Hubby thinks I’m crazy and that Georgia will kill Hawaii. Neither of us are Georgia fans. It will be difficult to cheer for them, but we generally support all SEC teams when they’re playing out of conference. Tennessee is the exception.
